Alex is actually a really tight dj who dosent play around, definitely one of the BEST dnb djs in Montreal if not the best (with the exception of Jordan and RCola) and I've actually been around long enough to make that statement.
He dosent get booked a lot for many of the same reasons I do, pure politics, nothing to do with skills.

One of the things I realized earlier on and ultimately ensures that I get at least one gig a week somewhere is versatility. I play a really wide range of good music instead of focusing on one particular style.
& Thank god for that, I can't imagine being stuck in Montreal's dnb scene, which is primarily populated by male djs and their welfare sidekicks (no offense to anyone ;) |
