| I think you need to actually read the article. Try to use both brain cells. Granted the title is completely alarmist and doesn't help, but what they're doing is actually completely beneficial, and will only affect idiots who get spyware/malware on their computers.
Since the specific piece of spyware redirects infected computers through a specific few servers to steal your information, when the servers that are there to steal your information are taken down, people infected will not be able to browse the web since it'll keep trying to route the signal through the compromised spy-servers.
Wish they'd have done this shit sooner. People with infected computers shouldn't be allowed online to spread viruses and malware until their computer is cleaned up and not a threat to the rest of the internet. |

i don't think i would care too much myself, I'm totally off of FB these days, so long as their was still cable news I don't think it would bother me tremendously...

| I could totally live without it for extended periods of time, but only because I've got many many gigs worth of movies, tv shows, comics and books all downloaded that I still haven't gotten to watching/reading. |

| Entirely too many lol, I've got about 2tb of stuff total on various hard drives, computers and devices.. So really whenever the internet is out, it's a good thing for me because I can catch-up on my back-log of things to check out! |

| hehe I've got an insane collection on my old Xbox.. it's soft-modded and I put in a 500 gig drive.. about 50 gigs is games, the rest is movies.. huge horror and sci-fi/cyberpunk collection; many alternate/fan-edit/long-lost-LaserDisk-edits of stuff so a ton of the movies keep surprising you as you see scenes spliced back in that you'd never even known existed, but aired only once on a TV station back in the 80s.. it's awesome :P |
