 Coolness: 129660 | Avoid this place like the plague, two nights in a row I've witnessed two extrememly violent muggings in front of that place while walking home at 4 am
Friday I saw 6 guys nearly kill a guy who was defending his girlfriend. If it wasn't for the security guard who jumped in the guy would have died. They were kicking the guy in the head repeatedly. They also knocked out two of the girls front teeth and stole her telephone. Tonight I saw a British guy get jumped by 3 guys who had also stolen his girlfriends phone. I was so mad I followed the guys up St Catherines and located them on a bus at Atwater where I called the cops (they got arrested lol...) Anyhow to make a long story short, tell your friends and people you know to avoid that place. Its literally infested with gangbangers who are looking for people to mug |

Yup The cops came to my house at 5am this morning and I spent an hour filling out a police report. They even said I was a "citoyen modele". big hunting blade or not 3 guys against a girl late at night in the middle nowhere isn't gonna end well, i have a hard time seeing dana pulling out the face cutter and really using it to hurt people (cause that's what will have to do in that type of situation) she's pretty fierce but come on alex think about it. I got my ass handed to me by two 16 year olds who jumped me in Verdun about 1 1/2 years ago...i'm in pretty good shame, and i'm not an idiot when it comes to these things but still it happened... i just don't understand people who rob at knife and gun point, i mean really, you guys are making so much money off of this, 30-40 dollars here and there plus someones cell that you can't even use...Just deal some drugs it has to be more profitable, I just don't understand |

Just remember anyone can get jumped, even the toughest cats, so dont feel bad about it. The guy I saw get jumped on friday was a big tough mf, he even managed to punch one of the guys who was grabbing his girlfriends bag before 6 or 7 of these savages were on top of him. Then more guys came running, little kids not even 15 or 16, and started rummaging through her bag like a pack of hyenas. Their strategy seems to be to start shit in the restaurant with the girls and then they get moved outside where more guys are waiting to jump in. You can see in this video how it works Here the security ushers out the girls who are obviously very upset. Then the gang follows, as you can see they are about 5 or 6 of them, with more around and they will not hesitate to HIT A GIRL. Girls are actually their PRIMARY target. |

I've lived in the Verdun/LaSalle area for most of my life and to say it's less safe at 3am than anywhere downtown makes no sense at all. While it isn't the safest neighborhood, it's not nearly as problematic as downtown, close to crescent on the week end after bars close. Come on! And the hunting blade argument... sigh... You get free pass today bliss, you did good. It's safer to mind your own business but it takes guts to do something about a situation like this one and that night you had it. |

 Coolness: 248365 | Well when i was 17/18, i was beaten up hard in a bus in laval by a girl and no one helped me, even the bus driver didn't give a shit. At the end of the ride, The fucking bus driver didn't even want to call the cops and FORCED me to quit his fucking autobus even if i told him the girl was still there outside waiting to beat me up again ! He said it was not of his business and he got a bus to run....I SWEAR. I'm glad there's actually people like Bliss who cares and alert the police...And i don't think there's *safe* area anywhere, there's crazy people everywhere! Host Dana must be careful, I'm pretty good as well to defend myself, but even a knife can be a worst for a girl of our size. a 180 pound guy could easily just turn the knife against us just by flipping our arm!! And this , if you have time to take it off your purse. At night , i try to be at least with another girl to walk / wait for the bus or else i take a cab ( especially if i'm walking home from a bar drunk with all my dj gear on me ......... ) |
