7D: The Seven Dimensions of Euphoria is here to bring you the best of hard electronic music. Seven extremely talented Canadian DJs have come together to give you this massive and FREE album! The goal of this album was to familiarize the audiences around the world with not just one type of electronic music, but with seven types. The genres included in this fantastic album are, Drum N’ Bass, EBM, Hard Trance, PsyTrance, Hardstyle, Freeform, and last but not least UK Hardcore. The DJ’s who are bringing you this fantastic line up of genres are as follows (the short but sweet bios): Tamerax: Freeform Synergy, [ RaveCanada.Net ] Blizzard Tracks, [ Tamerax.com ] Ottawa’s favourite Local DJ, though he doesn’t even live in Ottawa! Tamerax, started out as a radio DJ 15 years ago, and began preforming in 1999. He has countless gigs under his belt and shows no signs of stopping! He has played alongside some of the biggest names in the DJ scene such as Orbit1, Marc Smith, Scott Brown, Sharkey, Sc@r, Kevin Energy, and Uplift! His flawless mixing and great track selection shown in his “HD Sessions” series, will make this Freeform mix something to be listened to over and over! Sarcastro: Drum N’ Bass [ Bassdrop.ca ] Soulselecta, B.H.C. Once you’ve heard his Drum N’ Bass mix in this album, the only thing that will come to mind when Drum N’ Bass is mentioned, is Sarcastro. Started his mixing in the late 1990’s, Sarcastro has become one of the top Drum N’ Bass DJs in Ottawa. He is known to play the harder and darker side of Drum N’ Bass, and sometimes also drops some liquid, jump-up, and more recently Dubstep! This Drum N’ Bass mix will certainly get your head banging and your body moving! Tampered DNA: PsyTrance SoundKraft Records, Project D, Jade Buddah, Mind Candy Ottawa’s King of Psytrance! Tampered DNA started his DJ career in 1999. He has played numerous gigs around Ontario, New York, Calgary, Vancouver, and has played at the Royal Doof Music Festival in Australia! Tampered DNA is giving us his spectacular LIVE performance at Emotion 5 that took place in February! So prepare for some of the best Psytrance tunes! Type-Z.E.R.O: Hardstyle Overdrive, Ambiguous Recording 9:00 pm, Hardstyle time! 10:00 pm, Hardstyle time! 11:00 pm, time for some Hardstyle! This Hardstyle addicted DJ is known for his blend of hard beats and epic melodies. Type-Z.E.R.O is one of the most well known DJs in the Ottawa area, and has played along side some big names such as Marc Smith, Luna-C, DJ Phosphor, DJ Mad, and Marty Mcfly! This Hardstyle mix will get you jumping forever! DJ Eko: Hard Trance Spaced Out, Waxaddict In a short period of time DJ Eko, has shown the EDM scene that he is definitely someone to keep our eyes on. His flawless mixing, and a charismatic stage presence, he is quickly establishing himself as one of Ottawa's most sought after electro & hard dance acts! Known for playing either a seamless mix of hard trance, Psytrance, German Trance & Hardstyle, or his signature blend of funky electro, this mix is certainly going to be one to remember! DJ Reverie: EBM Positronic Radio [ www.positronicradio.ca ] DJ Reverie, is a Alternative Electronic DJ based in Ottawa. He has been active in the local Alternative club scene since mid-2009. Feeling that modern Industrial and EBM wasn't being played in Ottawa clubs as much as it should, he decided to start his own podcast back in late 2009 in order to promote this type of music in Ottawa. This EBM mix is down right dark and a bit dirty Something for the whole family! DJ V: UK Hardcore Fresh to the DJ scene, DJ V has shown he knows what he is doing when it comes to mixing. His recent win in the Ottawa Bedroom DJ Contest has gotten him his first gig, which could be the start of his DJ career! This UK Hardcore mix is not to be missed!
