We want to thank you all for making this movement possible, we are all creating something beyond what any of us can individually do. Thank you!!! because I want to stay with the idea of a party where everyone is within a degree of everyone else, I am inviting a few people that I know can bring a tight crew that will help us make these parties legendary , by tight crew I mean 7-10 friends min/max, and people who will be coming for the music, not for a place to do drugs out of the cold. If the Music, Vibe, and people are not you reason for coming out... don't. (the only people we want are music first people, No filler.) The reason we have no guest list, is well we don't want the filler, most charge the people they don't want there, and comp the people they do. the people we don't want here are not invited. no filler. I promise this night will be worth the ticket price. and I emphasize no ticket no entry. I hope to see all of you here, until then... *note* this event will have two rooms and new lighting system..intelligent lights:) Once again taking thingz to a new level... This gathering is a special one We are celebrating the birthday's of two talented dj's and friends:Jeff Gold and Oly Arsenault who will be pampering us with their talent along other amaazing local dj's. As for the venue well , we are offering 2 rooms of musik, adding more lights (wait and see- sickkkkkk) and of course more sound DJ'S: Nyan Narine, Julian Prince, Oly Arsenault, Jeff Fontaine,Avrum Gold, Jeff Gold, Greg Pidcock aka Allied Nations, Carl Dionne,Uzi, Rene Benoit aka the Machinist, Nick Grimmer and Steven Caceido for tonight in addition to the killer lineup of dj's, extra Sub base in the main room, a second room, light jockey computer based lighting system... and all you have come to expect from the lost tribe, this party will also have an organic side to it with live Saxophone, trumpet, vocals and more... for sax we have our own John Juster, who needs no introduction, as he is a staple in the Montreal house scene. for trumpet, I have a friend of mine named Danny Depoe coming in from Toronto, Danny a Berkley grad has toured Canada and had write ups in most of the news papers and once when we were working togeather doing a weekly we had 2 TV stations come down and do stories on the night... one of those stories is on my facebook page under videos. I confess: I like house music. In fact, it is (in my opinion) the hardest style of electronic music to dance/mix to. It's so slow that you gotta stay a long time in the 'air' between kicks. Same thing as for mixing... You gotta be fucking tied 'cause basses will clash. I mean, fucking tied. I'll do my best to attend this one... |
