Club Nuances is a private, members-only swingers’ club. It has become known as the hot spot for couples seeking to meet other couples, or single men and women. Swing on over One of the first clubs of its kind in Montreal, Nuances has a social mission: to provide a respectful environment for people who are interested in the swinger’s culture. From beginning to end, a night at this place is filled with music meant to put you in the mood. It begins with lounge, sensual and sexy music. During the evening, the sounds change and around midnight, the tunes become slower. No pressure atmosphere Club Nuances is built on two floors, one for dancing with a bar and the other for lounging—with couches, beds in an open area or more private rooms, and a shower. Club goers can dance, talk and drink upstairs, then, if they want, go downstairs and participate in sexual activities. Or, you can just watch. Nothing is mandatory. The club’s rule is respect: no pressure, no discomfort and everybody respects their limits. Banking on classy decor Club Nuances was once the location of a bank. The mood is set by the décor and architecture, with a high ceiling, white and gold relief on the walls and roof, red lights and candles everywhere. A sensual, kama sutra-like painting greets you at the entrance. There are red curtains, high black chairs, tables and leather couches. The dance floor features golden cages for dancing. The original bank vault was kept intact, making for an intimate space.
