10- Infected Mushroom (best band, nice venue... vibe sucked ass) 9- TGIT Back to the groove Preparty (everybody there were just too cool, nice vibe before what would've been the party of the year) 8- NeverLand (even if the venue sucked, the party was real good and I was drunk as fuck) 7- Terra 3 (seems to be the favorite here, I personally think Omnikrom are o.k. but PadClass defenitely pwned them) 6- TGIT with Gobs the Zombie (this one rocked, it's my favorite Hardcore TGIT, gobs set was various & nice) 5- TGIT with Dave the Drummer :) 4- Luna-C (dopest DJ, I was drunk, not enough people... so what..?) 3- Raves'r'us (yay My first gig... crazey partey) 2- Time Machine II (Project Mayhem's craziest) 1- Pikniks what can I say, best summer parties aaaand Josh Wink was the best one. So anyways, alot of drinking this year! |

So anyway, I started raving at 28, I am now 40. I had a pretty intense blast at Soma. I didn't "make friends" with nearly as many people as I did at any rave 12 years ago, even though by any measure I am much friendlier now. I was then generally more blasé about life than I am now, and to tell you the truth some of the music (like nuclear ramjet in the electro room at Soma) is downright fantastically trippy, and in my taste better than anything from back in "my day"... #1 Hardcore 'Til I Die: In The Sun 2007 Un expérience inoubliable, ce fut mon premier gout de la scène Hardcore d'Angleterre, mais en Espagne et surtout au soleil :D #2 Black Light 3 Party Hardcore de l'halloween à Québec, avec la présence de Uplift et Sc@r, ainsi que Art Of Fighters. Malade!! #3 Time Machine 2 Excellente musique, salle idéale (sinon un peu perdue lol), j'ai des souvenirs vraiment nice de ce party. #4 Raves'R'Us Wow, ca parait tellement loin déjà... la vibe hardcore était très présente, un party signé Project Mayhem :D #5 Festivus-Eve Rock Out Surprenant party de Noel, avec beaucoup de nouveaux ravers et de bonne musique! #6 Luna-C @ Freeform Fridays Malheureusement, peu de gens se sont fait le plaisir d'aller voir le fameux Luna-C d'Angleterre pour une bouchée de pain dans une salle vraiment géniale. ca prouve à quel point les gens de Montréal en ont à apprendre sur le Hardcore en général. #7 Twisted Wave 3 Beau party underground, malgré la petite salle Hardcore chaude et sale... fait rien, la musique était quand même bonne a souhait! vous remarquerez l'absence de terra 3. la salle Hardcore était vraiment trop négligée et mal foutue pour mériter mon vote. Vu la popularité du party j'imagine que les salles électro et trance valaient plus la peine. |
