yeah well the situstion in canada for artist of this kind(!) of country is also difficult.. last june i tried to bring a polish artist and even after pay hundreds for the visa and did that months in advance the thing didn't work out... i suppose it's need to be care of year in advance haha!  Coolness: 127675 | if your bringing him for a booking just get him to tell customs that hes coming for a small vacation with friends.. or if his return ticket is for too short a stay all he has to do is tell them he was invited to a special event as label promotion and no salary will be awarded. If he actually needs a VISA supplemented passport coming from Russia as a simple vacationer all a promoter should have to do is fax him an official signed friendship invitation from a certified canadian registered fax machine for him to show his consulate... this process takes 4-6 weeks. its really not that big a deal.. just be organised. |
