 Coolness: 46430 | When I say party, I mean like every weekend, Booze, Coke, Chemicals, staying up all night, whatever. I don't mean something occasional, where the parent or parents go out for a night on the town, I mean everyone needs a release once and awhile, but I mean real blow out partying, on the regular.
Not in front of the kid or kids, but I think you get the idea. Thoughts? |

That was just a little joke but I really believe that if you take some drugs while you have kids (I'm saying 'you' meaning everybody), it's O.K. if it's not dangerous for you nor the kids coz if you die they will become orphelins and like they will have bad life conditions... not only that what about if you fall asleep after parting all night.and you leave some drug's out.and your child finds it and overdoes and your passed out and do not notice. that would fuckin suck.i guess it all comes down to ones own brain and where there responsibility's lie !!! and well some people just need a wake up call like that to set them strait.it's sad but true. in the end look before you leap. |

 Coolness: 685495 | Absolutely not. You have a child, you have a responsibility towards raising it. A party once in a while is alright, but every weekend out, fuck no. Not only should you not be hungover/cracked out when taking care of your child, but you should also be setting a propper example. |

I'd tell any parent or even a regular person with no kids that getting fucked up every weekend is not healthy... Besides you don't need drugs to party, thats the honest truth. I went to raves pretty much every weekend from 1991 to 1995 and never did drugs & they were some of the best times I've ever had. |

I think it's a bad idea to do that under any circumstance (partying hard every weekend), but if you have kids then it is not wise to do that. You might not being getting fucked up in front of your kids, but you have to explain to them the next day why you are lying in bed all day and feel bad and can't take them to the park. |

Give them good education and care, so they grow up allrite and aren't fucked-up. Listening if they have problems, going out with them, etc... Children are very demanding, and you have to be mature enough to take care of them. If people can afford to do all that *while* partying every weekend, well allrite, but I think it's physically impossible ;) Also, I kinda have a problem with people doing drugs and having kids... Just a gut feeling I guess... But IMO you should be able to take care of your own body before taking care of your child... |

Yup... kids and partying is bad news and I mean.. what happens when the kids are older too... and they're friends get into the scene and see their buddies mom and dad giving little underage girls massages at a rave? Can you imagine _that_ conversation by the lockers in grade 10? |

 Coolness: 38655 | nothing wrong with partying when you have kids, as long as you can fit it in... the real question should be, is it possible to fit it in?... personally i don't have kids yet (thank god), but in observing my friends that do have kids, I don't really think it's possible to do it every week... if you're really raging hard, then you won't be capable of doing much the following day, and kids need constant supervision...
if you can arrange it so that the kids have at least one sane and sober adult to look after them at all times, then why not?... but if this is not the case, then the parents are irresponsible... |
