Is going out for dinner on the first date a bad thing to do? I heard that its not the best thing to do on a first date. Going to movies too.. thats like a nono.. like you don't even talk!

| I've read many places that the best place to go on a first date is somewhere which won't cost you anything, like walking in a park or something, you get to just talk with whoever you are whereas if your watching a movie your either gonna just shut your mouth n watch the movie or exchange saliva during the whole movie. Hoped that helped...walking around in a park this time of the year aint that great unless you like freezing your ass off. |

Coffee is a good idea, but sometimes it can be just as formal and serious as dinner (it's just 10x cheaper, and doesn't last as long).
Drinks are probably the best idea I can think of (well I am an alchy...), but bringing your friends can go both ways.
Alchohol can make conversations fun, and it will also make you lose some of your inhibitions, so you can feel more comfortable and less anxious when communicating with the other person.
But don't get drunk of course. |
