Time to get the party started and ignite clubgoers across Canada fifteen minutes at a time. Red Bull Thre3style is preparing for rotation around the country, one city at a time giving each DJ their fifteen minutes of fame. Hitting 10 cities across Canada, Red Bull Thre3Style will feature eight of the best local DJs throwing down their best party sets followed by a special performance from Canadian DJ legend Skratch Bastid.

The industry’s top talent – music writers, musicians, promoters, bloggers and headlining DJ’s - will judge the DJs and evaluate each performer based on creativity, track selection, skills, stage presence, and audience response. The winner of each stop will move on to the National Final set to take place in Toronto on Saturday, March 13, 2010 as part of Canadian Music Week. The winner of the Canadian National Final will earn a trip to play at the World Final in Paris, France in December 2010 and compete against winners from 13 countries and be crowned the first Global Red Bull Thre3Style Champion.

Deux tables tournantes, un mixeur, et des téraoctets de pistes musicales. Voilà la Sainte trinité pour 80 des meilleurs DJs canadiens, occupés à classer des millions de chansons,
en preparation pour le grand party, la compétition ultime que représente le Red Bull 3Style. Le défi : livrer 15 minutes de folie musicale, incorporant trois styles de musique. La constante : le
public. Visitant 10 villes à travers le Canada, le Red Bull 3style présentera huit des meilleurs DJsde la scène locale qui performeront pour l'amour de la foule, audixième et dernier arrêt de la tournée à Montréal au Théâtre Telus, le 19 février.

Lʼart des tables tournantes évolue constamment, mais reste fidèle à un objectif : faire lever le party. De Jimmy Seville qui laissait tomber lʼaiguille sur le vinyle au Loyal Order of Ancient
Shepherds en 1943, jusquʼà Kool Herc qui introduisit le hard funk dans le Bronx des années ʼ70, en passant par A-Trak qui derrière Kanye West allume les foules partout à travers le monde, le Red Bull 3Style suit la continuité des beats.

Les meilleurs talents de lʼindustrie, des DJs légendaires, des compositeurs, des musiciens et des promoteurs, seront les juges qui évalueront la performance de chacun au plan de la créativité, du choix de pistes, du talent, de la présence sur scène et de la réponse du public. Le gagnant de chaque étape avancera à la finale nationale, qui aura lieu à Toronto au Sound Academy.
