dont even need to answer.. its rhetorical.. ppl dont go to artists house to get pierced or tattooed.. it steals business away from where they actually work (im sure ur boss would love to see you stealing clients) and its not safe. |

Actually I got my tats done by a friend who quit the shop that gave him negligeable working conditions. He's fully equiped at home, safe and all, and has already established himself as a profesionnal, so people know him and he has enough work to keep him busy all the time. If you can manage it on your own, without a shop, I say go for it. If no one knows you, they are taking a risk however. |

I've already had more than 4 of my piercings not done in a shop, they're all fine and healthy. I trust that Shereen won't fuck it up. All of her equipment is packaged and sanitary, she wears gloves... If I can get a piercing and not have to pay a ridiculous price for it, I'm happy. And she'll get a tip anyway, I mean she's giving me a great price and she's going out of her way to do it at her house so fuck yeah she's gonna get a little something extra. XD I can understand though how some people would only want to do it in a very sanitary and or well known shop. There has been fuck ups with tats and piercings but it happens. I went to Cracheur D'encre and got an orbital. I took very good care of it and it still got fucked up. But I got my tongue, lip, helix, and vertical industrial at the same place and they were all fine. All done by the same person. |
