INVITATION FOR DISASTER

Considering the newly armed SkyTrain police will be operating in an
area with a high concentration of people, I think it is an invitation
for disaster.

Our regular police are involved in a seemingly never-ending series of
judgment calls involving policing and weapons.

Now these armed, "fully trained" officers will be policing an
additional powder-keg environment.

If SkyTrain stations have long been a breeding ground for crime, why
hasn't the VPD cracked down on them?

Sooner or later, there will be a shooting incident on SkyTrain.

Probably sooner.
