FAKE POT DISPENSARY IN COLORADO SPRINGS FEATURED DISPLAY CASE, CREDIT

COLORADO SPRINGS - Two people who police say were illegally selling
marijuana were arrested after Colorado Springs officers discovered an
unlicensed medical marijuana dispensary in an apartment complete with
a display case, surveillance system and credit card reader.

Police were alerted to the fake dispensary on Dec. 28 after officers
found three juveniles with marijuana during a traffic stop. The
juveniles did not have medical marijuana cards and told police where
they had made their purchases.

Police obtained a warrant and searched the apartment where marijuana
was sold out of two bedrooms. The apartment was not a licensed
dispensary. At a second location that police say was used as a grow
operation, officers found 13 pounds of marijuana, 198 marijuana
plants, 34.4 grams of cocaine, 7.2 grams of psilocybin mushrooms,
68.5 prescription pills, 27 guns and a bulletproof vest.
