um the pictures are kinda small. try right clicking and pasting url into browser. the 4th picture is a tree (for shade) next to a rest-stop built for people who don't have motorised boats and want to have a siesta.

this was chill. you can take a boat from Roluos (35 minutes from Siem Riep) and it brings you to Tonle Sap for a few seconds and then goes back to the Stung (river) and parks itself inside the flooded forest. then you can go swim onto a tree and just CHEEEEEEELL or jump into the water from tree to tree. just gotta be carefull there's no trees or trunks under the water. OUCH!

the masacrew were going on during the 70's and it's organised for visitors cause they were probably just littered before. most places with tons of bones is cleaned up. trying to clean up the countries image. this place was pretty remote from casual tourists. there that one skull you can see in the picture maked with a red X. that person was killed for a specific crime. can't remember what.>>> people dont get buried in cambodian culture. they're always cremated. this was one of the last places where they keep the bones for display. i think.

you see that piece of chain? that's the only thing i had to hang onto. taxi pick up truck. >>> that's dirt. i was wearing a motorcycle helmet.

nope. that's two phone numbers. they just started with ASEAN standardized liscence plates. you're supposed to pay for it when you buy your vehicle but most people can't afford to pay it so they make up their own plates at the dealer.
Posted by » soyfunk on Thu Nov 2, 2006 @ 1:41pm
hah. well said. if you can think about it; then it's possible in cambodia.
Posted by » soyfunk on Thu Nov 2, 2006 @ 1:40pm
it's not hard to come up with 2 nice photos when you took 1500 of them. >>> on the left is a lady selling roaster banana rice cakes. luce you've had the steamed one. on the right is a lady that cooks up the seafood after you buy it from another lady.

Intense betting goes on throughout the kickboxing matches. same as Muay Thai but they prefer exchanging elbows over clinching. before the fight each fighter strut their stuff in honor to school, family and province they represent. >>> holland thaiboxing is the shit! i'd say better than thaiboxing from thailand!

scooters outnumber cars in cambodia. mainly cause of gas prices (which is the same as here) and since a 'fonctionaire' makes 30$ a month, only the rich (richer than you and me) drive around in Mitsubishi Pajero's and Toyota Landcruisers. the spraypaint on the wall says "warning to those who piss on this wall"

Oil Palm (palmier d'huile) you take the fruits and press them and it makes palm oil. the people who harvest them just leave em on the side of the road and a truck comes get it in the evening.
