At my last rave I saw a 10 years old kid come with his brother, then left about 10-15 mins after with two girls, then came back again 15 minutes later. Up to now I still wonder: WTF?! How did that kid got there and WTH did he do with the girls these 15 mins xD

Actually the fact that he got in the rave wasn't a problem seeing how late it was, but the 2 girls thing.... xD

Lol @ turtlez... Why does users here have this bad habit of being pointless? xD Joking, it does make the conversation fun and varied, but sometimes it's just too much out of subject. By the way, there are many hardstyle DJs that are just plain awesome, like headhunterz, showtek, bass agents, Blade masterz, alpha twins, SMF, and I could keep on going on like this lol. Djing myself would be too much of a trouble, I prefer listening to it.

Ravedave is a great hardstyle DJ and has a lot of fans which tells us there is definitely some potential, and maybe you should consider DJing if you would like to promote the sound as well.

My knowledge of hardstyle is really limited, but I think Toneshifterz and Bioweapon are really good!

Very true, I too think we need it to be more promoted. Half of the hardstyle music I hear today is low-quality, no wonders why people have such a negative view of the style. It's way better in europe in my opinion.

Somehow, I feel like we need more Hardstyle music in raves. Anyone else thinks the same thing? Sometimes, it's just too soft for me =P

Yeah, it as became useless, but there's no "lock thread" button so, gotta bear with it :P
As a matter of fact, I just wanted to see how people react to posts like this, and I saw what I wanted to see. 1/4 of the posts were useful/logic, 3/4 were immature/useless. That's approximate but lol. Oh yeah and yeah, I said rave but looking at it in another ways, most "raves" aren't raves, just rave-looking parties, hence why it might happen to get carded at those. REAL raves doesn't card, and some normal parties doesn't too, but "public" events, even rave-looking, will be mostly carded since police will know about it, in a way at least. Bal En Blanc is a good example.

I don't know if it's allowed in these forums, but there:
The Melbourne Shuffle is a dance, and there's a big rave community surrounding it.

I'm coming for sure, but I'll be in my newly made phat pants, not in some prom clothings. Even at my own school's prom night I will be dressed casually. I hate every conventional craps xD I'm joking, I just don't like conventional clothing.

But damn, I'll be there till the sun rise tommorow, and probably even later than that. Melbourne Shuffle and Brisbane Stomp all the way baby =D

@ Daf, I don't need a scene with rules to follow, I need a place where people are not complete hating retards, in which I can have the most fun out of life. That's why I rave.
Still, you are right on a point: "I don't need a music scene to tell me who I am", this is damn right and I totally respect that.

@MolocH, I don't really need organisation, just some awesomely crazy places I can rave the hell out of the night.

In another way, I admit that sometimes, the multiple sides of the art scene, including music and dance, leads my life, but I can't help it much, since artist is my dream job :P

Oh, so you're the Gamos I've read about. Yes for me the PLUR is important, but: "Our society of choice is utopian though we know it will never be."
2nd paragraph of the Raver's Manifesto.

Oh and guys to mention to think about the parents of the kids going to raves, they got to be worried sick when we get back home @ 9h30am ;)

Nice one Joey :D

Oh et pendant qu'on y est, Laurent, I dare you to point me a good rave for this saturday ^^

@Laurent, you obviously haven't read the last sentence, as your post was useless :/

@DrGonzo, wow, really? Rofl, then it seems I got to be damn unlucky to only find the 18+ raves xD

@rodroid, this was kind of a useless post. I actually lol'd at it but, it does not have anything to do with raves in any means. If it is representative of how you took this text I wrote, then I'm sorry we misunderstood.

Just to point something out, what I meant by this message is, yes, sometimes minors get into raves, but these are rare and probably most of them aren't legally allowed to let minors in. What I meant is that it is sad to see the lack of raves officially accepting minors.

I, being 16, often needs to bother peoples at a rave event's page to know if 16+ are allowed too, instead of only 18+, since it is never said directly. I don't know if it's an issue to many of you guys who are in these forums, but it is for me, and all minor ravers in montreal.

This issue is due to the fact that most think that 16-17 years old is still too young to know what raves, or general partying behavior should be. Of course, some would abuse of it, but not all.
It really does bother me. As a matter of fact, not to be rude, but it's pissing me off. It really does, as us, "teens", are judged. "We can only hope you won't judge us, as we won't judge you."

I, of course, understand that not every young ravers knows and understand the PLUR, an important part of the rave scene and history, but if we do not get our chances, we cannot expend our suposedly closed mind. I opened mine to this ideal, this utopic vision that is the PLUR, and still, I often see "adult" ravers not even Respecting us, "teens", which is something I can hardly understand coming from mature ravers.

Think of this: When you were young, sixteen (if you aren't anymore) let's say, weren't you pissed off when you were said that you couldn't join in a rave because it was 18+? You really were, because you knew you wouldn't have f*cked around, and you would have came to enjoy the music and dance, not to get drunk and drugged (exeption for some about drunked and drugged).

To end on a better note though, yes, we can still try to go in raves not requiring ID, but it's most of time not as fun. I leave you all, the raver community, to ponder on this message. It would be nice to see some peoples support this idea manifest themselves, as much as people who does not agree, but be constructive. Saying "I dissagree because sixteens are not mature enough!" is simply pointless and only reflect your sole opinion without any facts. Be clear and supportive to your opinion, and then it will be my pleasure to reply to your messages.

Si oui combien ça coute l'entrée? :P
