2x2=5... is stupid.

His second line does not work. He goes:

X = Y / Y
X * Y = Y^2 (where does the ^2 come from?)

I wont say they are not greedy fucks, but its very false to assume a cd is cheap to make. Yes the medium is cheap, but theres alot more involved in making a cd. Its not like the sole purpose of the money you pay for a cd is to cover the medium expense. (but i agree it should be cheaper, but not because of production costs).

I've had a king-size round bed for like 5 yrs (96 inches diametre, so bigger than a square king size one), but then i had to throw out the mattress, and couldnt find one that wasnt way too pricy :( (I still have the bed's base tho)

For those that like fantasy (I dont enjoy it much, but this i found very good), the rift wars saga by Raymond. E. Feist

You mentioned Heinlein, so i'd say any of his books is worth a read, not just stranger in a strange land. The moon is a harsh mistress is a pretty good one too. Well, like i said, any of his books.

100 years of solitude (i just translated the title from spanish, not sure if its exactly that) from Gabriel Garcia Marquez

most of what Van Vogt wrote.

It was mentionned but i'll mention it again: Ender's game. Definitly the #1 sci-fi book i would recommend to anyone not into sci-fi as a good start.

And this is only if you got some time and love sci-fi: Perry Rhodan saga.

I'm saying if you got time, because there are 235+ books (and yes, its a continuous story). Its cheap pulp writing, but its highly entertaining. In its original language (german) there are 2000+ books. The translation goes slower than the creation. To really enjoy the series someone has to start at the beginning tho, but the books are made so you can start anywhere.

Moloch: Those tickets were created by an up and coming digital artist. I paid for the rights to use the images (which he made custom for me). I meant custom as in: the first ticket, the head shaped one, was cut in that shape (not rectangle). And at the entrance, we teared it on the line of the mouth for those who wanted to keep it, as to not ruin it.

The birth of the fairy one i think i might have u/led the wrong file, it missed the info-line number, date etc...

Here are the flyers for both parties: (unfortunatly, i lost the file for the front of the Nuke flyer).

And btw, i had to call the artist and ask for permission to post these, I try to be professional about what I do.

The live set from Paratonerf really was the best I ever heard, the slow comming storm was just a killer mood setter.

The lineup had changes since Jorah Kai missed his bus, Iznogood filled for him.

lol, the front flyer is on there, thats nice it means i have not lost it :P

I think its the right place for DJ Wood as its the place i know that has the most 14-18 discotheque feel. (You are 16 right?)

It feels like a nice trap set by pedophiles to attract young, drugged, mislead boys and girls.

betty_haze... you were my only hope! ;)

I know how to travel, i traveled a lot myself, but never in Japan or Asia, what I was looking for was specific hotels etc. I've done plenty of research on the net but there is just so much stuff in tokyo its hard to unscramble all the info :P

I can go up to 400-450$/day if it includes food and taxi/bus/etc. I can't spend 450/day on a hotel room :P.

I am not a backpacker either, i was thinking of 1 full week in a hotel in downtown tokyo, and 3-4 days outside tokyo sight seeing.

I'll message giorgio, thanks for the tip!

Hi, i know some of you like betty_haze seem to have traveled a lot, so I figured this was a good place to ask some questions and get some info.

I'm planning a trip to Japan, and I'd like tips on hotels, clubs, what to do etc.

Just some info to help you answer me:

I'm going alone. I'm going mostly to go out, have fun, party. I might do a little sight-seeing, because I'm thinking, I'm already there, I should not pass the opportunity to visit a bit, but thats really not why I'm going.

Since i want to go out in bars and clubs, I'm wondering where should I get my hotel, so I'm close to the nightlife. I don't want to end up in a tourist trap. I don't want to go in tourist only clubs, as one of my goal is to be mostly out of any familiar element. I'm not going there as a sex tourist either.

I also don't mind paying for a good hotel if the room and service is nice.

I think I'll be going around 10 days, probably spending 7 in Tokyo and 3 on sight-seeing.

Any other good info you might think of will be appreciated. Recommended websites, books, etc...

side note: just read hossa is almost surely headed to montreal for ryder and streit (they ordered some equipment for him or something). Rumors were also big he was going to boston for Glen Murray and someone else (Kessel i think).

They still call that shit they serve beer? There should be a law. Like mousseux and champagne.

Anyways, watched it on tv with my bro, probably one of the best games we saw in recent years. And Ryder's third goal wasnt refused, it was rightly given to streit (Even ryder said in an interview he told the ref it was streit's goal).

Anyhow, flame me as you wish, i'm still a Bruins fan :)

No matter what this thread is about, one thing is clear: DJ Wood should stop doing drugs and stop trying to throw parties, go back to school, and learn to spell. I have dyslexia and i do a better job spelling words in a language that is not mine. Does make him a douche or anything, just trying to give good advice.

I needed it quickly, otherwise i'd have used a website that does that (Where you upload your own image/font/etc). I mean he was out of the letter E for the Font and Color i asked!

I know it was mentionned in a previous thread but could not find it. This forum really needs a search function. (search site doesnt search the forums, or if it does, it fails miserably)

taking 1/2 is seriously dumb in that case. Anyhow, maybe you should slack going out and try to go to bed at normal hours for a month or so.
