On a déja quelques festivals qui sont malades à coup sur et ya seulement une 10aine de fin semaine par année ou c'est le bon temps pour un party outdoor de plusieurs jours. La st-jean bassiste est gratuite, Le party Nortek aussi je crois, space gathering c'pas si cher et tralala. Natura c'est 15$. On est à la mi-aout aussi. En juin les gens sont en feu et veulent aller à un party outdoor qui dure une semaine même s'il pleut. Rendu à la mi-aout, peut-être que la majorité des gens ont eu leur saoul de décadence estivale. I don't wanna go only 2 parties with or promoted by ppl I know... That's just boring. There R a ton of parties planned this summer. Marketing/Advertising is not a black/white issue. U wanna have a gr8 party, U have 2 plan with intelligence; give ppl incentive 2 come 2 ur's above every1 else's ~ not an easy task. Personally, I would have gone if I wasn't short on cash. I don't give a shit if there R more DJ's listed on some website than attendees, that doesn't show NEthing... I was @ Eclipse & I would have much more preferred better weather as i'm sure 100% of the attendees there would have 2, not 2 mention the SERIOUS lack of artwork 4 us SERIOUS ravers (which in the end worked out only Bcuz it was raining 24/7)... I agree with the timing, but I also think Canada has a lot of room for improvement in the rave music scene. I'm a die-hard fan of psy-goa (which U can barely find quality of here) & I lived abroad 4 many yrs & THAT'S THE SHIT!!! This yr was my 1st @ eclipse, & based on the DJ list last yr, I would have much rather been last yr. (a.k.a. died & gone 2 psy-goa heaven). I had fun this yr & met & heard some gr8 artists, but the ppl i've spoken 2 that have been last yr agree. & if U all think U could do a better job @ running/throwing/promoting a party, then go ahead! What R U waiting 4? |
