WARNING! Incoming Game Thanks/Review:

Wow... this party has taken over our lives for the past few months, and now its just so weird to have everything back to normal. After a week of recovery, I think now I can finally write a proper review/thanks (Sorry if anyone is forgotten! There were sooo many people involved).

First of all... we want to thank our Deco Crew: Megan, Anne-Marie, Kristine, Kristin, Lev, Mark. You guys are awesome, and we couldn't have done this without you! This was extremely last minute, and you guys did a great job. Zoe, Bader, Alle, Rod thanks for helping with set up. Matt Zentrix... you are a life savour! Seriously.. thank you for being our official artist driver! Corey K... thank you for finding the decks and setting them, that could've been extremely bad. Our ticket sellers (Bobbie and Alex Ventose) , thanks for spreading the word and taking the time to go meet people for ticket sales! Also Becca for being such a well informative bus nazi (despite the bus getting cancelled last minute due to complications.)

This party has been a huge learning experience for both Peter and I, and we have a lot to take from it. Our goal was to bring as much variety and quality for your buck as we could, and bring as many different people together as possible. With over 30 artists to manage, on top of venue craziness, one of our partners dropping out, and our deco team cancelling on us VERY last minute, we got through it all... and we are glad everyone had a good time.

For our first party, we defiantly tried to hit as many points as possible... and maybe that was our problem. With inexperience you really cannot get everything 100% right. There are always many last minute emergencies, that take your attention away from the big picture.

Lastly, but defiantly not the least we want to thank YOU. Thanks for coming out and showing your support, wether you were an artists on the line-up, a kiosk attendant, a part of our crew, or a rave attendee. YOU guys are what really made the party, and a party isn't a party without people like you! Everyone was so positive about the whole thing, and so helpful. You guys are what made our party so great.

Keyminder you were a great partner in throwing this event! We hope to do more events with you in the future!

Your feedback is extremely important, so don't be shy and tell us what you REALLY thought. Venue? Staff? Sound? Lighting? Music? Layout? Etc.

P.S. Official photographs of event will be posted on [ www.space-kat.com ] shortly... and all the sets from the hardcore room have been recorded and will also be posted.

Thanks,
Maria – Space Kat Productions

Still recovering... will write full review/thanks after everything settles down.

This party was about doing something different, and having variety. Despite what many of you guys say... Circus is an awesome venue... space and structural wise. We wanted to do something a little bit more professional, having clean bathrooms, professional security, etc. Management on the other hand was anything but professional, the dj booth in the hardcore room? The fans? waiting 2 hours on water for artists... yeah lots of issues.

Psytrance has been big in Montreal for years, so I don't really know what you are talking about Bobbie... but I do agree that there arn't enough hardcore parties, which is why we wanted to have a hardcore room. The dubstep room had little attendance due to two competing events, and a lot of people who like dubstep do not enjoy the other genres.

Overall we have learned a lot from all of this, and we will hopefully continue to throw events in the future.
The sound in the hardcore room was super loud because DJ's kept turning it up, at one point I had to let them know that it was too loud.

An indoor party and an outdoor party/festival are two completely different things, and different environments.

Hi guys! Due to some changes and such a positive outcome in attendance we are going to be moving the date of the event one day forward. So instead of having WARNING! Incoming Game on Saturday, August 28th 2010 we will be having it on Friday, August 27th.

By changing the date we are providing our international artists with a little more personal time in the city, and better accommodations. This change is also because our venue owner proposed the idea of giving us extra room, sound, and an overall better set up for our event.

We want to give our guests the most for their money, we believe that having appropriate space, professional security, separate entrance, friendly staff, and well rested international artists is extremely important, and we want to provide the best experience we can. For those who have already bought your tickets, we will give full refund to those who can no longer make it! We are extremely sorry if this is an inconvenience for you, we will do our best to try to suit your needs.

Thanks, Maria – Space Kat Productions

ROOM 1 [Hardcore]:
Host: MC Jester (Toronto)

S3RL !!! -> HHC (Australia) His FIRST! Canadian appearance !!! :D
.. has been writing, producing and pushing out his own tracks since the year 2000, and before actually being discovered and able to entertain us with his happy hardcore anthems, he's been knee deep in the rave scene, cutting loose and churning it up with the ravers, as a raver.
S3RL clenched his first break at the end of 2005. He had demo CD's loaded up and ready to pop out, and when Kevin Energy and Sharkey came down under, S3RL dropped one on them... Weeks later, Kevin Energy got back to S3RL with a contract to sign and release his track 'Transformers' on to vinyl under the NuEnergy Collective (NEC) label, 'Relentless' Making him the 1st DJ in Queensland to be signed to a major Hardcore label.
Now that S3RL has smeared a name for himself and left a mark, there's no skidding to a halt. He'll keep on squeezing out more bowel trembling basslines, phat, chunky beats and explosive melodies that will leave you burning and needing medical attention.

TONY BENINO -> (San Fransisco, USA) LAST HARDCORE SET !!! Tony will be retiring for Hardcore after this performance.
.. of K12 Studios is known for his epic productions and ballistic DJ talent. Working with artists such as Reese & No Left Turn, Tony brings the best in American hardcore to the party. Known for his unique style of hardcore, Tony's tracks such as "Got The Place Rockin" and "The End" have topped numerous DJ's charts in the past year. Flying in directly from California, Tony is guaranteed to please any crowd. Buckle up and hold tight, Tony's gonna rock the party all night.

A living grinding machine able to mash up all your favourite music: from wonky, glitch-hop or skwee to dubstep, hip-hop and drum&bass, creating a high energy mixture of bass-driven beats. His talent was appreciated in his native Poland, where at age of 21 he'd already given hundreds of gigs and was picked the best Polish DJ of the year 2008 (by the decision of users of DNB.pl, Poland's largest drum & bass and breakbeat music forum), as well as by clubbers and DJs all around the world. ROOM 3 [Psytrance]:

PRINPLES OF FLIGHT (France)* LIVE
.. was created in 2004 by Remy and Pierre. Their desire was to bring something new to the psychedelic scene. After a few month of collaboration, they rapidly got their first live set ready and played for the first time at Rahkti Dei festival in Belgium. At this point they decided to push their collaboration a little bit further and started producing intensively as well as releasing tracks on various compilations. Their unique combination of dance floor smashing beats and gloomy melodies was soon recognized to be one of the most original of night full-on psychedelic music. Pierre and Remy quickly established themselves on the french psytrance scene, and actively collaborated with other well known actors of night music : Phonic Request In 2006, they started working on their debut album and after almost a year of intensive creation, "Night Time Lullabies" was released in december 2006 on BooM! Records. With this album, POF brought the vision of trance to another level. "Night time lullabies" was a concept album that merged incredible psytrance music with classical themes. The music follows a story, the story of Gabriel and Gloopy strugling to bring back peace over thir enchanted lands and is amazingly illustrated by artist drawer Nicolas Delort. The goal of the album was to achieve a unique artistic creation involving music, visual universe, and imaginary story, all linked together by a tight script. In 2009 they released their 2nd concept album Chaos Opera on the South African label Timecode Records. POF have been touring all over the world and performed at notorious events such as Fusion Festival (Germany), Rainbow Serpent Festival (Australia), Prism Vortex Festival
(South Africa). Their music could now be qualified as psy-techno a unique blend of night full on and ravaging techno, without doubt extremely dancefloor-oriented!

ROOM 1 [Hardcore]:
Host: MC Jester (Toronto)

S3RL !!! -> HHC (Australia) His FIRST! Canadian appearance !!! :D
.. has been writing, producing and pushing out his own tracks since the year 2000, and before actually being discovered and able to entertain us with his happy hardcore anthems, he's been knee deep in the rave scene, cutting loose and churning it up with the ravers, as a raver.

Go to a health store, and buy yourself a small bottle of oregano oil.
Take a couple drops of that and you'll feel much better.
Doesn't taste very good though.

Well yeah obviously smoking a lot of weed.
But you guys don't have like a shitload of people go to the hill or something?

What I liked about Ottawa is that you would see thousands of people go to the hill, and run into so many people you knew and forgot about, and smoke big blunts with complete strangers.

I've never experienced 4:20 in Montreal(I used to live in Ottawa... and we'd always go down to parliament hill with thousands of other people).

What do people do here?

Hey, what's your price on an industrial?
I had to take all my ear piercings out for my old job:(... so I think most of them have healed over by now.

Also, to the people who say it is unsafe/unsanitary to get pierced/tattooed at the artist's house... you have no idea what you are talking about. Most professionals do their work for friends in their home... I know at least 5. As long as they know what they are doing and are being sanitary, then it's fine.

I had all 10 of my ear piercings done by a friend in his home, and I had them all for a good two years, healed perfectly and no complications.

I would agree if the person is still new at their profession and they were asking you to go to their home, but if they are experienced enough then it's completely safe.
