Hm, the people I know who have gotten married are those I least expected to.

Personally, I think it's like saying "I love you"; you don't *need* to do it to demonstrate its meaning, but it feels good to hear.

Too many people get married too fast. Or make babies too fast. Just because some people fail at being parents doesn't mean we shouldn't make babies; same goes for marriage.
I think that few couples really belong together; too many people stay together because of dependancy issues or whatnot... Those people definitely shouldn't get married. But when you truly are with someone you belong with, getting married is a way of saying "I don't just think I love you; after all we've been through, I know I do".

So, while I believe in marriage, I don't put much faith in people's ability to decide if it's the right thing for them...

This day and age is the first time (as far as I know) when we are actually free to choose with whom we are, instead of being bound to the first person to make the other pregnant, or deals the parents made. You must be going through a rough patch to say such things.

oh, and btw...

"On September 12, 2003, Letterman announced that his long-time girlfriend and ex-colleague Regina Lasko [6] was six months pregnant with his child. His son Harry Joseph Letterman, named after David's late father, was born on November 3, 2003. Letterman was about to tape a show when the news came that Lasko was in labor and thus Shaffer was forced to step in as guest host for the broadcast."

Car me voyant sans exigences
Elle me croyait sans besoins

Je protégeais ses moindres pas
Je passais mais ne pesais pas
Je me trouvais bien de la chance
A vivre à deux ma solitude
Puis je devins son habitude
Je devins celui qui revient
Lorsqu'elle revenait de partance
Et me voyant sans exigences
Elle me croyait sans besoins

L'eau chaude n'a jamais mordu

allowing 4 kids per square feet to make sure they are jammed tight...

#1 NBA/NCAA - regulation basketball court dimension is 94' long by 50' wide.

#2 High School basketball court dimension measure 84' long by 50' wide.

#3 Jr. High School basketball court dimension measure 74' long and 42' wide.

Assuming this is happening in a high school gym... that's roughly 16,800 5 years olds. And approximately 33,600 liters of blood.
