Dressing like a raver before ever seeing one, Kendall was called out by a Kandy Kid at a Drama festival in her hometown in Ontario. She was then whisked away to her first rave where she fell in love with Happy Hardcore and the rave scene, changing her life forever. Kendall has been a Hardcore Raver and Designer of her own clothing for over 11 years. In the past 3 years she started selling her designs online through Etsy [ www.KendallMade.com ] and by running vendor tables at various raves and festivals in Toronto (her old home) and Montreal (her new home).Kendall's hippy Mom instilled her with a huge Environmental Consience and so all of Kendall Made clothing uses a combination of new and recycled materials (and lots or PLUR). De un, je nai jamais dis que Espace des Arts ne fais plus de rave toute la nuit à cause du succes de Heroes and Vilan. Il y a exactement deux semaines passées, toute Ville-Marie dois fermer avant 4:30am. Le rave Heroes and Vilan était le dernier rave jusqu'a 7am ou plus. Et ce meme si mon contrat me permet d'aller apres 5am. J'ai cependant été mentionné que depuis Heroes et Vilan, la ville et la police est sur le dos de Espace des Arts, au sujet des raves toute la nuit. Donc en aucun temps qui que se soit a été blamé, à part la ville. Heroes and Vilan a été tout un succes et le team de la promo a fait un excellent travail. Ca aurait pu etre nimporte qu'elle autre evenement que ce dernier. Ca s'adonne juste que Heroes and Vilan est le dernier rave a plus de 5am. Meme que maintenant, apres MORT 2011, il ne va plus avoir devenement passé 3am. Donc le fait de le faire jusqua 4-4:30am est excellent pour le faire a Espace des Arts.

En second point, en ayant booké Delta 9 cinq fois par le passé, je ne le considère plus comme un headliner, mais plutot comme un resident de Kreotik eNt. Donc le set de Delta 9 est juste reporté pour tres bientot. Cela fait toute la place aux djs locaux qui vont se donner corps et ame pour MORT 2011 .En plus, Espace des Arts n'est pas une salle cheap, elle est dispendieuse. Et pour couvrir ces dépenses 10$ pour du psycore, pour 8 heures de temps avec des djs locaux de qualité. Ca vaut bien le détour! Pour 10-15$ MORT 2011, n'est pas un evenement d'un dj, mais bien un rassembelement de djs, performant dans une place aussi merveilleuse que Espace des Arts pour débuter le week-end d'Halloween!! PAIX et MUSIQUE!! :)

Unleashing devastating audio destruction since the early 90's. Delta 9 first started releasing his music on Drop Bass Network and soon after started working with Industrial Strength Records, which quickly gained him worldwide recognition. A veteran producer and seasoned DJ of all things "hard as nails", Delta 9 is one of the most revered names in hardcore techno, speedcore and noise. While playing all over the U.S., at massive raves or underground warehouse parties, in the early 90's, Delta 9 has also been invited time and time again, to play at some of the biggest events in Europe and all over the world. VENEZ DANSER/COME DANSE AUX BEATS DE MORT 2011!!

Merci à tous et celles qui se sont présentés!! Pour ce qui est du reste, tout était en place, le système de son, Rob Gee et Chosen Few, la salle. Il y avait autant de promotion que la plupart des événements de ce genre. Il y a eu 70 billets de vendu et seulement une trentaine de personnes à la porte. En tant qu'organisateur, j'ai du prendre une décision qui était économiquement réaliste. Ce n'est pas un FREE party, c'etait un événement de 7000$ de production. Donc, le fait que j'ai du mettre un terme un peu plus de bonne heure était malheureusement la décision la plus sage lorsque l'on travaille avec un budget serré. 2heures de plus était quasiment 1500$ de plus avec la sécurité. Oui je sais et je m'en excuse d'avoir du mettre fin à cet événement 2 heures plus tot. Mais lorsque l'on organise des événements aussi cher à produire et que le monde ne répond pas à l'appel, je dois prendre une décision rapide et économiquement efficace.

Je veux d'ailleurs remercier toute l'équipe de PSYCHEDELIC SANCTURARY ( Ussef et toute sa gang) pour l'excellent travail dans la déco et pour leur bonne énergie. :)

*CHOSEN FEW*

The youth of François Prijt aka CHOSEN FEW is turbulent. He grew up in the South East of Amsterdam some call it the ghetto of Amsterdam and in the year 1984 he makes knowledge with electro music and graffiti which blew over from America. This kind of music and the graffiti was very important for the rest of his music career. After his parents bought a Commodore 64 for him, he began making music. After a while he bought a Amiga 500 inspired through what others with this device can produce, he was fully surrendered in the music. In the beginning, this was mainly hip hop and breakbeat and drum & bass. In 1989, he bought his Technics SL1200 turn tables, and after two months of practice he had the art of the mixing in his hands. At the end of 1991 François began playing hardcore, and became a resident dj in a small club on the Amsterdam red light district. On this he builds up a large multitude fans, and from that moment it goes fast. In 1993 together with DJ Dano and The Prophet he got his first booking outside of Holland to Austria, the bookings streamed in. Hardcore and Gabber freaks globally pay homage to the name chosen few playing events such as Mayday in Berlin, Mayhem and Enchanted in Australia, Thunderdome 1994 in Utrecht and 15 years of Thunderdome 2008, Hellraiser in Amsterdam and Resurrection in Scotland, the biggest club in Europe ‘Number One’ in Italy, Poland, the United States, Sweden, Switzerland etc. - the man has an ambition to visit all the biggest events in every country all over the world, keeping the real hardcore vibe alive! With huge releases on labels such as Mokum, Bzrk, Megarave, Spleen Kick, h20h recordings and more, it is not hard to understand why this man is one of the hardest acts on this planet! The styles of Dj Chosen Few is a mix of early hardcore techno, up-tempo hardcore & a twist of drum&bass.


*ROB GEE*

Is famous all across The Universe as "the hardest DJ to ever play the Limelight in NYC." In the club's early 90's heyday, the versatile GEE kept delirious audiences going through spinning at Limelight's "FutureShock" dance/techno nights and performing with his live band as well as spinning at the club's "Rock And Roll Church" metal/ rock/ industrialnights. The crowds kept coming back to Limelight, just like they did in Australia, Japan, Italy, Spain, Scotland, Austria, Hungary and Belgium to name a few.

GEE is a recurring headliner at Sensation,Thunderdome, Mysteryland, and Love Parade, where GEE played before one million people. His diverse appeal keeps him performing weekly at all types of musical events and concerts. GEE has shared the stage with everyone from Hatebreed and Biohazard to Crystal Method, BustaRhymes, Kurtis Blow, and Afrika Bambaataa. His GEEness has also has spun at many Slipknot and Korn after parties with his good friend, DJ Starscream a.k.a. #0 of Slipknot. GEE's history of DJing and live performances shows his dedication of bringing the fusion of organic and electronic music to a wide variety of listeners. GEE's love of hip-hop, hardcore, techno, metal and every other genre for that matter set him apart from the rest. While other DJs make tracks and spin records, GEE is an Artist who writes original songs. His indecisiveness as to whether or not he wanted to breakdance and spin hip-hop or jump in the mosh pit and play in a metal band was one of the reasons he began to cultivate his own style of both. Rob GEE is the only artist of his kind to collaborate and create with members of respected rock, metal, hardcor eand hip-hop acts such as Slipknot, Hatebreed, Biohazard, Wu-Tang Clan, Cypress Hill, and System Of A Down (just to name a few) creating a unification of Rock, Electronic, & Metal as well any other style GEE chooses to use. "The Gabber Guru," as GEE is known, gained worldwide fame after the release of "Ecstasy You Got What I Need". The song went Gold and was the #1 video on The Box for 13 straight weeks. At the same time, "Ecstasy" rose to #9 on the pop charts and earned him BestArtist, Best Producer and Best Song of the year at The Thunder Awards in Holland.

The GEE Man has recently enjoyed radio and video success along with his bandmates in ROB GEE with their latest album, "THE GREAT AMERICAN MELTING" . ROB GEE is currently writing & GEEcording in The StuGEEo their next album titled "COCKADOODLEDOO"due out later in 2011.

C'est au début des années 80 que le jeune Omar Santana commence à mixer dans les clubs du quartier Queens à New York, sa ville natale. Il devient tranquillement l'un des DJs les plus en vue de New York et se lance par la suite dans la production musicale. Inspiré par le old style gabber alors très populaire en Hollande, Omar produit des compositions fracassantes qui font le bonheur des fanatiques du genre et devient, au fil des années, l'un des leaders incontestables du gabber.

En 1995, Omar crée H2oh Recordings, son propre label entièrement dédié au sonorités old style hardcore. En plus d'en être l'artiste principal, plusieurs DJs renommés ont paru sur ce qui est toujours considéré comme le label hardcore le plus important aux États-Unis. On y retrouve des tracks composés par des artistes prolifiques comme Da Predator, Chosen Few, Rob Gee, DJ Delirium ainsi que des remix par Neophyte, The Stunned Guys, Buzz Fuzz, Manu Le Malin, The Horrorist et DJ Paul pour n'en nommer que quelques uns. Omar a popularisé sa musique au commun des mortels grâce aux quatre CD de sa série Hardcore For The Headstrong qui ont battu des records de vente un peu partout sur la planète. Après 4 ans d'absence de Montréal le voilà de retour pour réveiller les MORTS en ce weekend d'HaLlOwEeN!!

À l'avant de la scène hardcore canadienne, Merkurius est sans l'ombre d'un doute le DJ et compositeur le plus imposant de ce style musical au pays. Depuis 2001, il démocratise constamment cette musique agressive, en particulier dans sa ville natale de Québec, que ce soit à travers ses compositions ou ses performances dans les plus importants événements hardcore au pays.
