Another advantage of CDJ's is most clubs and some parties already have them so you might not have to bring any hardware at all, just your CDs.

Im selling my vintage Roland TR-909 Analog Drum Machine which I love but haven't really used for a while.

The 909 was around the first wave of true analog vintage drum machines with full MIDI control, tweakable sounds with separate 1/4" outputs for each. It's the classic drum machine at the root of house, techno and electro and spawed many emulations that never quite capture the alien mojo of the original.

It's in very good condition, all lights, buttons and knobs function properly except one knob is a bit scratchy and needs cleaning.

I've had it about 10 yearns and taken good care of it so its looking good for a 20+ year old machine.
The original manual is also included although its a bit stained and tattered.
$1200.00

Come usher in the smoking bylaw in a cloud of glory!

Hot indie kids and a nice terrace for fresh air.

Unfortunately it turns out our original plan to openly give away free smokes is illegal, so lets just say there will be lots of extra ones around if u need to bum one or five.

We'll be playing the new Lady Sov, giving away free shit and getting down to an eclectic blend of indie rock, old school hip hop, eighties, reggae, dancehall, brit pop, dirty funk and random party jams from the past and future.

This is a properly labelled pharmaceutical vial which would indicate strength. If it wasn't directly on the label it wouldn't be hard to look up online. It's not like it's a flap from some guy on the street.

Of course we're talking about a very powerful drug here so you are correct in that one would have to be very careful in chosing a dose. It also depends on the method of administration such as IV, smoking or absorbed through mucous membranes.

...not that Id condone anything like that.

PS. stay away from the N2O tanks made for cars, that stuff is mixed with sulpher dioxide which will turn to burning acid when it hits the moisture in your lungs and throat. I've seen aformentioned addicts doing it anyway!

And to state the obvious, never have a contraption like a platic bag or gas mask over your face to administer gas that won't fall off if you pass out. Kid I know in Calgary killed himself that way :(

N2O is not dangerous in itself but huffing on a balloon can trick you into thinking you are breathing so it's easy to deprive your brain of oxygen which is permanently damaging. As mentioned, if you are doing it - take air inbetween balloon huff and you still get damn high. Be warned also that, believe it or not, it IS addictive, Ive seen friends go pretty far and read some crazy stuff on the net.

Here's a fun recipe for the brave/foolhearty :
first the E for a happy fuzzy mental and body state,
then the LSD for the visuals and pure confusion,
then when those two are happily fucking your mind its n2o baloon time near the speakers and the spaceship ride to the inside-out spiralling fractal alien consciousness party in deepest innner-space. Five minutes later as you try to remember where you mis-placed any conception of reality you giggle your way back into this dimension.
» Insomniak replied on Thu Apr 14, 2005 @ 4:52pm. Posted in Fentanyl.
insomniak
Coolness: 37435
Fentanyl is a really strong synthetic opiate, so although dangerous that also makes it highly recreational. Basically what you have is ultra-pure Heroin which can and has killed many people chasing its pleasureable effects. It can be taken IV, smoked, snorted or absorbed through mucous such as in your mouth (but innefective if swallowed).

The LD50 is 3.1mg/kg - take your body weight in kg multipy by 3.1 and that is how many milligrams will give you a 50/50 chance of dieing. So if you weigh 50 kg and take 1.5 grams you have a 50% chance of making it or not on average. A safe dosage would be considerably less then this.

The Russians eventually said they used a Fetanyl derivative in the theater, not Fentanyl and they may have been lieing. They were under a lot of pressure since it was speculated they used a chemical gas banned under international conventions. Traces of other chemicals then Fentanyl were found in the blood and urine of some German survivors that were later examined by a German doctor.

Yeah, the 5.1 was muddy and there were no really cool obvious surround effects. Some visuals would have been nice too but overall Amon's sonic assault carried the show.

Insomniak - Rockwise EP [PHQ001]

Five track net label release on Phoniq

Empty train yards lit by moonlight, abandoned industrial buildings looming in the shadows, a flickering streetlight watches over a lonley street.

The muted bass thump grows louder as you approach the eerie glowing doorway. You are ushered inside and the darkness explodes to life as a frenzy of pounding beats and flashing lights take the sweaty dancing crowd on an other-worldly journey in to the night.

Heavy breakbeats, dub bass, tech and robots.

That's some sweet looking alien technology but Im afraid they may have chosen a funky form over function.
I want my LED meters on the channel strips they are monitoring, not some curved separate piece that needs to be cross referenced.
Sure the thing that copies your handwriting is cool but not as practical as just writing once on the channel where it is needed.
It's like the joke about the US and Russian space programs.
The US spent hundreds of thousands developing the space pen that will write without gravity, upside down and lasts for ages. The Russians used a pencil.

I tried it a few times with various effects but never had the vivid transportations to other worlds that I read about in many trip reports. Has anyone here had that?

One problem with the 10x-20x extracts is that it's really hard to measure the proper dose, it's a very fine line between not enough for effect and too much where you don't remember a thing from your trip (which makes the experience rather useless).
The natives that used Salvia chewed many grams of leaves for a long time to get high, these extracts are essentially a crack version just developed in the last few years.

The most effective trip I had started with a heavy presurized physical feeling like being underwater quickly sweeping over me, it hits FAST, hardly time to take 2 hits from a pipe. The room twisted around inside out while I had some very psychedellic intricate fractal type visuals. I sensed some alien like presences around me that were speaking and loading me on to some kind of stretcher like transportation device. Next thing I know I was coming to in a sweat about 5-10 min later.

It's best done with no music at all in a dim room with some quiet friends watching out you don't do anything. Ive seen some friends really out of it but mobile enough to stand up and walk around so you could hurt yourself. These people couldnt even remember anything happening after taking a puff. I've had the same thing, thinking nothing happened but being told I was just staring into space for 5 min.

Personally I found it either ineffective or way too heavy and won't be going back any time soon. Shared a joint that was rolled out of just the leaf once and that was okay, more of a mild weed buzz.

YMMV

True that, this is why I found the latest Beastie Boys kind of redundant and rediculous, their goofy teenagers schtick is getting pretty tired after 40.
They've even shown some diversity in the past (punk rock and instrumental loungy tracks) so I thought they might do something interesting with this one but The 5 Burroughs was just stale formula.
