Ugh, unfortunately the event was cancelled. However, I posted a 80min mix I did Oct 27 of some of the music you would have heard at the event.

This was a test mix I did a day before I found out Progressive Regressions was cancelled. This is what you would have heard for the first 80mins or so at the live event. The tracks were not in any particular order as I was just messing around and thought it turned out fairly good. The last track is cut off so I could fit it on a CD; the test mix was 120mins. I am not putting a tracklist in this one as I will be making a final 2 or 3 hour mix (haven't decided yet). For now enjoy these deep, dark and dirty progressive/tribal beatz

Quake II multiplayer will forever own any game out there. Railgun+hook (Tourney) was undeniably the best gameplay EVER; non-stop fast paced fragalicious fun! Quake III Railgun+Hook was garbage... that lightening bolt looking hook was ridiculous.

As for Quake 4.. well I can't even run that game so fug it :)

Good set man. Some absolutely flawless mixing throughout. Flow was fairly good but pace changed and got a little mellow at about the 45min mark. Not entirely my style but I definately enjoyed it. Keep 'em coming :)

Disossanance... hmm you mean like harmony of the sounds? I was referring mainly that in a progressive set usually you progress and get louder and louder having many different high and low spots of the set. You slowly turn up the EQ's and let the sound creep in on you as if your getting higher and higher... I'm going to have a few more listens before I post a thorough review.. good to see A LOT of tracks that I couldn't ID.

I'm sorry but even trying to remotely bash this piece of work is an understatement. You try to replicate such intricate detail. This is VERY accurate down to every little strand of hair.

Definately my style for the first 30mins.. you have good beatmatching but I don't notice you utilizing the EQ's to their full potential...

Fo sho... only time I'm standing around is when I can't dance to the music (DnB, Jungle, Hardcore -- the beat is just too fast for me and usually very irritating) or the vibe is just completely DEAD....

seriously software has to be AMAZING for me to buy it... same with movies these days, they are so terrible.. and why would I want to waste 1 1/2+hours of my life on crap films that should go straight to video...

If you want indestructable phones, Technics RP-DH1200 are the ones to get... good sound, good isolation and you won't have to worry about being gentle with them unless your throwing them around. On the bad side they are quite uncomfortable if wearing for long periods of time but other than that I'd say they top notch phones up there with Sony and Pioneers top of the line...

I had originally planned on getting those flashy Pioneer ones but I hear they break quite easily.. likewise with Sony.

so back to the subject at hand... ecstacy is baaad... but anyone who does drugs is a hypocrit to say one is worse than the other... all drugs are bad, period... while some like weed, don't completely destroy your body like the harder drugs they all do permanent brain damage.. I've been smoking far too long now and im just slowly starting to quit my habit.. but ill tell you my memory is TERRIBLE now.. short and long... its all going slowly

Hypocrit. "inspires" a natural happiness.. clearly both drugs make you happy therefore they are both "Fake" as you state. E is like eternal bliss.. but then again I would say it all depends on the vibe, the people, the venue, and of course the music. Trance is the only genre that makes me feel this way... genres like DnB and Breaks make me feel like some durrty sketchpad... House is good too.. but I can't resist my deep, melodic progressive trance.. its TOO good

As for speed.. well I'd say theres always some speed in E. It definately makes you happy but for me it just helps me get into a nice groove and then I can't stop dancing for hours straight... even when it does wear off..

Not huge into the halucingenic drugs... seems like a lot of you love mushies, while at the same time hate it for the freaky trips you experience... my experiences with X have all been great ones except for my come down at the last party I went to.. felt like I was going to puke up a lung up or something... damn those dolphins
