More about me:
DJ Mr.J has been a supporter of dance music in Northern Australia since the early nineties has promoted and played at dance parties which have featured local deejay's as well as known southern Deejay's such as Paul Holden, Peewee Ferris, Nik Fish, Jumping Jack, Adam X, Edwin Morrow, James Echoic, Sean Quinn, Simon Sleiker, Simon Coil, Sugar and the list goes on... Mr.J has been an important part of the growth and direction of the dance music culture and is an inspiring deejay to younger up and coming talent who hear his seamless and innovative mixing style. He has hosted a popular radio show called Overdrive on Trip FM in Port Douglas from 8 till 12 midnight on Saturday nights as well as playing venues in Townsville, Cairns and Port Douglas on a regular basis. Mr.J started deejaying in the early ninety's after being inspired by German trancemaster K.F.Mike while on a working holiday in Australia. K.F.Mike left a lasting impression on Mr.J who to this day is a trance based deejay who puts alot of emphasis on the upbeat energy side of dance. Mr.J has played hundreds of major parties in Northern Australia along side world famous deejays such as Derick May(USA), Tony De Vit(UK), Pete Wardman(UK), Dave Lee & Andy Passman(UK), Loved Up(UK), Judge Jules(UK), Da Hool(Germany), Deejay Tom(Germany) and Baby Doc(UK). Mr.J is currently working on his own breed of hard edged techno tracks designed to work crowds into a frenzi.
