J'étais suposer déménager en colocation avec une amie.. mais finalement à déménage pu! Fac j'dois me trouver un coloc ou bien j'reste dans le sous-sol de mon père à Terrebonne à continuer ma vie plate!

I posted this on a Warhammer 40k messageboard just now, but I felt that this deserved it's own mention here. I single out WOW because the topic was the latest Wrath of the Lich King expansion, but really this goes and applies to any and all MMOs that you have to pay a monthly fee to access.

I played WoW for a little less than a year.. when I saw that there was an opt-in to try the beta of WotLK, I signed up and got accepted, and I think I played it all of three days before getting bored of it.

My getting bored of the WotLK beta, in a way, finally gave me the exact reason I'd stopped playing WoW earlier..

In the beta, everything you do is lost when the full thing comes out; the levels gained with your imported toon, and the progress you've made with the death knight (if you made one).. And that made me finally "see" what it was that bugged me about WoW in general;

Wow is really just a game you rent, you never actually own anything. You pay (canadian prices) 30-40$ for the original, and what works out to 20$/month to play. Then when you reach 60 (happens much faster since they upped the amount of XP earned AND lowered the XP requirements between 20-60 I think) you need to plonk out another 40-50$ for TBC expansion, on top of your constant 20$/month to keep playing.. Now that WotLK came out, that's another 50-60$ to shell out to be able to keep going..

Now, what if you get tired of playing for a bit, or don't have a lot of time to play? You still have to pay just as much monthly to keep your account open, no matter how much/little you use it.. You can't just pick up WOW and see if you feel like playing, like any other console/PC game you might buy.

Yeah, the game is fun, it's well designed, etc etc., but when it's all said and done, WoW is really no different than drinking alcohol, smoking cigarettes or doing drugs; it's fun while it lasts, but then you get to look at all the money you've spent with absolutely nothing to show for it.

WoW is just scientology with elves; you have to pay to get in, pay to stay in, then when you reach a certain 'level', you have to pay more to progress, at which point you have to pay to stay in, untill you reach a certain 'level, at which point you have to pay more to progress, repeat, ad nauseam...

Can you imagine if Warhammer 40k was run like WOW?

You've got to pay for your rulebook, codex and miniatures, but you can't take them out of the store, and you have to paint them in the store. Now, going to the store costs you a membership fee of 20$/month. If you don't pay this fee, you can't come into the store to paint/play with your miniatures. And if you stop paying your monthly subscription fee, well, your miniatures (which you bought and payed for) are lost, as you can't ever take them out of the store to enjoy them elsewhere.

Sounds like a hell of a scam to me.

Muzik 4 machines is a minimal electro house act from Montreal, Canada.


The project was started in 1991 by TBA03 with the goal of making music to listen for himself. the project was put on hold a few years then in 2007, he resumed where he left with gigs and events outside and in clubs, small venues and bars.

It all began with a Portastudio, a guitar and a TR-707 drum machine, early compositions were a mix between early house and grunge music, mixing the 4 on the floor rhythm with loud fuzz guitar. As the technology evolved, so did the Project; recruiting performers and signers and buying, finding or building new gadgets and sound mangling devices. When computer became powerful enough to generate and process sound, a new page of M4M history started.


The Music also evolved from simple riffs over a steady beat to more complex and mysterious texture in some works and at the same time exploded into Rave party music in others. They got some good charts apparition online and even sold Cd's worldwide on the then underground mp3.com website that since closed.


Over the years, different styles were explored as the personel changed (house, techno, drum and bass, rock, noise rock, pop, trance, and some unclassifiable sounds). Guests including Luke, MisterW, YUL and DP participated to different Live events and recordings (all available online).


Back to minimal electro house, Muzik 4 Machines is now producing new material, performing it live, and distributing it via bit torrent and youtube.

Soyez rassurés : Tout fonctionne convenablement sous "iTunes".

J'aimerais vous faire part de quelques remarques situé en "phase" pour expliquer ce que j'ai pu remarquer d'une très bonne amie a moi , qui as complètement dérivé de la track.
J'aimerais ensuite voir vos commentaire , de ce que vous pensez de tout cela.

Tout ce qui semble le plus normal , avec une job de réceptionniste tout aussi normal.

Lorsque votre meilleure ami(e) [et ici je parle bien , d'une personne que vous conaissez
depuis des années] deviens danseuse , la premiere réaction , n'est peut-être pas une déception. Vous l'avez toujours encouragé et vous croyez le pourquoi du comment qu'elle vous dit qu'elle veut faire ceci : rembourser des dettes , se démerder des factures etc.

Jusqu' que la tout va bien.
Quelques mois plus tard vous remarquez la "phase 2"

Jusqu' que la , tout va encore bien . Votre ami(e) gagne son argent et rembourse tranquillement ses dettes. Et bien sur elle se gâte, elle fait beaucoup d'argent. Elle as donc modifié son horaire pour travailler temp plein et pouvoir rembourser plus vite.

Nous sommes maintenant a la "phase 3"

Votre amie ne vous appel plus trop souvent , vous ne la voyez plus beaucoup. Elle travaille tout le temp. vous la voyez pour une soirée de chum de fille organisé ..et

-Elle commence a se laisser pas mal aller dans sa façon de s'habiller.
-Elle est devenu blonde platine , s'est fait poser des rallonges.
-Ses ongles deviennent de plus en plus long
-Pleine au As , elle s'achète quelques bijoux de grande marque tel :
-Dior
-Versace

OK. En phase 3 , on se dit surment que bon c'est pas trop grave. Quelle se gâte beaucoup, et qu'elle profite de son statut qu'auparavant dans sa jeunesse elle n'a jamais eu la chance d'être jolie et de se payer du luxe avec des petites jobines. Mais on commence tout de même a s'inquiéter.

Je crois que rendu ici , nous sommes a la phase la plus provocatrice de tout.
La phase 4.

-pour les rares fois que vous réussisez a l'avoir au bout du fil , votre amie vous parle sans cesse de sa job .
-Elle veut soudainement se faire refaire les seins .
-Ses rallonges devienne de plus en plus longue , ainsi que ses ongles.
-Son cercle d'amie deviens douteux.
-Ses bijoux se multiplient dangereusement.
-Elle commence a te parler de hells angels qui la courtoie.
-elle ne viens plus avec toi sortir , elle préfère sortir avec ses copines de job.
-elle ne rembourse même plus ses dettes.
-elle cherche le moyen dêtre trop nue a nimporte quelle occasion.

Tu décide de faire des activité avec elle , mais impossible , toujours parti danser hailleur.Elle se désiste de toute les activité avec toi pour simplement une question de cash .

Je m'excuse.. j'ai le coeur gros.

Je suis présentement dans un questionnement . (quoi faire)

Intervenir ?
Attendre qu'elle se plante ?
La laisser comme sa sans jamais lui reparler ?


Parfois les choix que nous fesons dans la vie ne sont pas les bons(pour certaines filles).
Je ne dénigre pas TOUTE les danseuse au contraire.

Je vous parle ici D'UN seul cas. Celle que je cotoie depuis que jai 3ans et demi.

Suite a ceci , J'aimerais que les gens répondent objectivement.
J'aimerais bien aussi que celle qui exerce ce métier me donne les leurs aussi.
