Title:Breaking Me Up
Posted On:2008-05-30 03:28:07
Posted By:» Cya
All this is breaking me
Same old story, same old history
And I'm wondering will this ever end
Will I be able to trust in my friends?
Always shared everything with you
Answer with a backstab that is what you do
Thinking of breaking this to pieces
It's really time for a longer recess

All this is breaking me
So far from reality
Cannot picture myself in this mess
Cannot pass by the distress

Your smile seem like fake
When I'm talking loud about the break
No words can forgive you now
Running from my dreams this time more proud
Your bad words can not touch me
Back with more strength and new energy
And this time it's for real
Finally realized how you made me feel

All this is breaking me
So far from reality
Cannot picture myself in this mess
Cannot pass by the distress

I've shared everything with you
Answer with a backstab that is what you do
Thinking of breaking this to pieces
It's really time for a longer recess

All this is breaking me
So far from reality
Cannot picture myself in this mess
Cannot pass by the distress

All this is breaking me
So far from reality
Cannot picture myself in this mess
Cannot pass by the distress...

So time passes by and the first time I ever went in a bar with great interest was barely a few months ago. Friends dragged me there a few times in the past few years, but never have I found interest in mingling with those who drink, don't give a damn of who you are unless you are oozing of coolness or simply one of those who try their luck in the lottery of lady hunting. I'm mostly as what some could call a geek, though I rarely keep all that I learn in an easy place to access afterwards, so don't expect me reciting pi or every single pokemon that was created. I'm mostly into Japanese culture and J-Pop these days, have been for nearly 10 years now...let's say a lady was my downfall indirectly for my studies, yet I discovered quite an interesting world, one that I still can't read their language...

Friday night, walking home with my new roommate, after a night of free shooters at Foufz. And a very nice HOTBOX. So anyways, we are walking towards the Bus stop, and somehow we get into this really intense philosophical conversation, and after a while... THIS is what I came up with:

What are post-its good for? I mean, when we write something down on a post-it most people say: "I need to write this down to make sure I remember it.

My theory on this is that we actually write things down in order to can forget them. I mean you don't walk around all day going like: "OK! So I wrote a message on a post-it, and now I'm going to think about it all day". NO! We write things down, so that the minute we write something down on a post-it, and stick that post-it somewhere... we can forget about whatever we just wrote down.

WHY?... simple, we're just lazy beings.

Thats it,

I LOVE YOU!!!

It is currently 11:58pm and time is traveling ever so slowly.. I'm labor free for four days so I decided to enjoy my Friday morning by going fishing! Unfortunately I haven't restocked on my fishing gear so I'm missing a couple things, but oh well!

I am completely thrilled that summer is here. Summer means no school and no school means party hardy! pfhahahah!

Ah man, Squiggles and Scribbles was so chill. I still can't get over the fact that I went. I hadn't gone to a rave for 6 months due to some personal issues, but I went and man, it was awesome!! Gotta do it again sometime!

Anyways, I seem to be rambling on.. >.<
If anyone is reading this, would you be so kind to help me modify my profile?? :D
I'm a bit of a n00b.

Title:Sketchy Randomness

Ok I'm going to start with earlier today as it is revelant to the story I am about to tell. Today as I was out with Kris shopping at Circle and Val called me. I told her briefly about the "misunderstanding" that Zac and I had. Well, more that we weren't talking. Then I brought up the subject of Rob who I have been trying to connect with for weeks, we just haven't had the chance to do so. She told me I should totally go for the whole Rob thing cause he's non-Sketch and an awesome guy, he has his priorities straight etc... So after I hang up the phone with Val, I decide to randomly text Rob. I do so and we get chatting.

Cut out the next 4 hours of Kris and I finding a stop/slow sign and being totally random and my going home in between.

At 8:17 for some reason I made this strange decision to intercept Zac on his way home from work, I don't know why I just did. I never saw Zac, we spoke briefly on Facebook but never saw each other. I totally thought I was nuts for going there so I just kept walking past his place and caught the 85 further on my travels. I decided to Message Rob and just say "I've lost my mind" he responds with some silly answer, as the text comes in I look out the window and there is Rob catching the same bus. He sits right in front of me. I send another message and say "turn around" Catch his attention and wow... that was so random.

He's headed out, says I should come along, I think about it and decide no cause I don't have my interac card or anything with me. He says well this is my stop It was nice seeing you I say bye and sit there for a second. I then realize that "OMG THIS IS MY STOP" so the bus driver opens the door and lets me off the bus. I am walking through Rideau and think, I should call Val to tell her about my Strange night. She didn't answer. I get downstairs and she calls back and says "I'm just saying bye to Danny, I'll call you back" I say "are you downtown!?" She says "ya" so I was like OMG so am I, I'll meet you.

That's when I saw my bus coming so before any more strange occurences can happen I message Val and tell her I'm catching the bus to just call me. Of course I get on the bus and run into a bus driver I haven't seen in months that I met right around the same time I met Val.

Sooooo Strange!

Holding you,
could it be alone, could it be alone, could it be alone
Loving you,
good at being alone, good at being alone, good at being alone
Kissing you,
tell me how can you, tell me I belong, tell me I belong

Title:A Raver's Manifesto
Posted On:2008-05-06 10:43:09

Our emotional state of choice is Ecstasy.
Our nourishment of choice is Love.
Our addiction of choice is technology.
Our religion of choice is music.
Our currency of choice is knowledge.
Our politics of choice is none.
Our society of choice is utopian though we know it will never be.

You may hate us. You may dismiss us. You may misunderstand us. You may be unaware of our existence.
We can only hope you do not care to judge us, because we would never judge you. We are not criminals. We are not disillusioned. We are not drug addicts. We are not naive children.
We are one massive, global, tribal village that transcends man-made law, physical geography, and time itself.
We are The Massive. One Massive.

We were first drawn by the sound. From far away, the thunderous, muffled, echoing beat was comparable to a mother's heart soothing a child in her womb of concrete, steel, and electrical wiring.

We were drawn back into this womb, and there, in the heat, dampness, and darkness of it, we came to accept that we are all equal.
Not only to the darkness, and to ourselves, but to the very music slamming into us and passing through our souls: we are all equal. And somewhere around 35Hz we could feel the hand of God at our backs, pushing us forward, pushing us to push ourselves to strengthen our minds, our bodies, and our spirits. Pushing us to turn to the person beside us to join hands and uplift them by sharing the uncontrollable joy we felt from creating this magical bubble that can, for one evening, protect us from the horrors, atrocities, and pollution of the outside world. It is in that very instant, with these initial realizations that each of us was truly born.

We continue to pack our bodies into clubs, or warehouses, or buildings you've abandoned and left for naught, and we bring life to them for one night. Strong, throbbing, vibrant life in it's purest, most intense, most hedonistic form. In these makeshift spaces, we seek to shed ourselves of the burden of uncertainty for a future you have been unable to stabilize and secure for us. We seek to relinquish our inhibitions, and free ourselves from the shackles and restraints you've put on us for your own peace of mind.

We seek to re-write the programming that you have tried to indoctrinate us with since the moment we were born. Programming that tells us to hate, that tells us to judge, that tells us to stuff ourselves into the nearest and most convenient pigeon hole possible. Programming that even tells us to climb ladders for you, jump through hoops, and run through mazes and on hamster wheels. Programming that tells us to eat from the shiny silver spoon you are trying to feed us with, instead of nourish ourselves with our own capable hands. Programming that tells us to close our minds, instead of open them.

Until the sun rises to burn our eyes by revealing the distopian reality of a world you've created for us, we dance fiercely with our brothers and sisters in celebration of our life, of our culture, and of the values we believe in: Peace, Love, Freedom, Tolerance, Unity, Harmony, Expression, Responsibility and Respect.

Our enemy of choice is ignorance.
Our weapon of choice is information.
Our crime of choice is breaking and challenging whatever laws you feel you need to put in place to stop us from celebrating our existence.

But know that while you may shut down any given party, on any given night, in any given city, in any given country or continent on this beautiful planet, you can never shut down the entire party. You don't have access to that switch, no matter what you may think.

The music will never stop. The heartbeat will never fade. The party will never end.

I am a raver, and this is my manifesto.

I'm so sick and tired of trying to find happieness, only to fail at every turn.

The only thing that ever works out the way I'd like it to is nothing.

I feel so sub-human.
Unwanted.
Unappreciated
Unable to enjoy things that make people happy.
Unable to enjoy things that make me happy.

Every time I try and open myself up, I get a painful reminded of why I shut myself away.

The only people that ever make me happy never seem to want to.

I can't eat the food I love, I can't play out the way I want to, I can't make the music I love, I can't
hold on to anything worth holding on to. I can never make it to anything I reach out for, and
everything I get my hands on gets violently ripped from me when I need it the most.

I hate hope.

Every time I hope, I get let down.
Every time I hope, another part of me dies.
