The legendary DJ Fabio rocked a few hundred sweaty ravers inside Footwork Nightclub and most definitely made it a night to remember. [ www.bacemedia.com ] :pics by bace) Well this year will be no different. On Sunday February 15th 2009, the Family Day long weekend, Theory is proud to bring you our first event of the New Year. So get set as this time we’ll be switching up the standard as we head into 2009 full steam ahead as we present another legend... DJ RANDALL Mac 2 / J-Tek / Metalheadz / Reinforced DJ Randall needs no introduction with releases on Ram Records (alongside Andy C), Moving Shadow, Reinforced as well as his own imprint Mac II and not forgetting his role in the legendary A.W.O.L. A natural when it comes to mixing, saying that the basics took him only a week to learn back in the mid 80s. However, he still had to continue refining his skills by studying music and making tapes every week. One of these tapes, in turn, got him a regular slot on legendary pirate Centreforce FM in 1989. It was here his reputation really started growing. Randall's style has always been fluid as he simply reflects what's going on around him. As long as those beats are running, there's easily enough room in his set to contrast a wide range of sounds, believe him when he says it's a drug and he needs a fresh fix of tunes in his box every week. His skills and style have cemented him as a favourite with crowds world wide. One of the original Jungle Dons and true aambassadors of Drum And Bass, Randall remains one of the few to grace the true hall of fame of the music.
