| Info: | In keeping with our desire to always look for ways to make the experience better for the Sundaze crowd, we are happy to announce that we have secured a new venue for our weekly event: Maverick Room at 221 Rideau Street. Some details about our new home for Sundaze: - It is still in the downtown Ottawa area, a short few blocks to walk from Surface Nightclub and the Market. - It is a much more intimate environment, with the DJ booth right in front of the dancefloor. There is still sufficient capacity (approx 200) to get everyone in and have enough room to move - it's just the right size. :) - the sound is clean and warm, with enough bass to shake your insides. - Weather permitting, there is a little patio area we'll open up when we start serving alcohol at 11:00am, so you can have your smoke and beer at the same time as you enjoy some summer sun. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Special Edition of SATURDAZE on JUNE 25th: ROGER SANCHEZ "Unofficial" AFTER-PARTY!! Special Guest DJ: RYAN DUNLOP (Velvet, Surface) Ryan has agreed to keep the house music pumpin' into the day at this special edition of Saturdaze. He is a true supporter of the Ottawa scene, and knows how to deliver the goods. Ryan never disappoints, so come and experience the same great music and friendly Sundaze vibe in our new, more intimate venue. w/ Sundaze Residents: - General Mayhem - Rick Laplante - Luc Labelle - Deedot As always at Sundaze, we still offer complimentary fresh fruit platters in the mornings for our patrons and serve up some hot and delicious coffee for those who need their morning "perk". Don't forget that every Sunday at 11am, we annouce the winner of the draw for a $50 bar tab. (Each beverage you buy beforehand -Red Bull, water, juice, pop, etc- gets you 1 ballot, but you have to be in the bar before 11am to hear the announcement and collect! hahaha!). ;) 6am-3pm | $8 b4 7am/ $10 after | 19+ w/ ID | Maverick Room - 221 Rideau Street @ Cumberland, Ottawa | ROAR - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - I'm personally really looking forward to this positive move, as are all the Sundaze crew. A special thank you to Maverick/Dekcuff for opening their doors to us (Check out their regular Monday and Tuesday DJ events for your electronic music fix). We're excited about creating the "crazy after-party in someone's big-ass living room" vibe that we've been looking for.
