| Info: | [ Mtlnights.com ] Montreal’s most infamous house music related message board will be celebrating it’s 4th year anniversary in style @ Stereobar on Friday March 10th starting @ 10PM. Washington DC native & local upstart DJ Miss Molly will be opening up for Dizzy resident DJ Dav. This will be the official pre-party for Move @ Stereo with DJ Heather, Rob Brown & Max Hebert. Mtlnights started off as a spoof of the legendary Global Underground message board back in early 2002, but quickly legitimized itself within a few weeks with its first industry tiff. Daniel Cordiero from 514 Productions & Jean-Fred from Aria Nightclub got into some kind of online scuffle over a Sasha & Digweed booking @ Sona (oh my have we ever moved on folks!). This helped jump start the board’s ascension into the annals of Montreal nightlife history, and set the overall tone for years to come. Mtlnights also spawned the short-lived existence of the Afterchat community, a community mostly made up of expatriate Mtlnights members. Unfortunately Afterchat closed it’s doors in early 2005. We’d like to give a shout out to the ‘soon to be married’ Tina & Craig for their contribution to the online house music lovers scene. Over the years, prominent local and international artists such as David Morales, Angel Moraes, Soundman Shorty from Systems by Shorty, Jean-Frederic Laberger from Aria, Alain Vinet, Rob Brown, DJ XL, Danny Torrence, Big Al, Brad Copeland, Max Graham, Crazy James Forbes from Stereo, DJ Martin Villeneuve (MV), Mat ste. Marie, The Blended Crew, DJ Tazz, Darcy, DJ Adam F, DJ Uzi & Natscha from Salon Daome, Simon B, Kirk Coleman from Mixart Studios & Mile End Records, Steve Caicedo, DJ Mightykat, Luke Fair, Loco Fern, DJ Bear, DJ Slyde from CHOM 97.7 FM, Eddy Yasmin, DJ King Louis, Tony Desypris, Manny Ward, Max Hebert, DJ Demi, Bic Flores from Therapy Montreal, Vivie-Ann, Bugo, Robert de la Gauthier, The Quattrophonic Crew, DJ Dav, Steve Porter & Eli Wilkie from Agent 001, Sean Miller, James Zabiela, DJ Jaimy, Micheal Terzian, Pheek, Sari from Frigidsound, Mazi, DJ Javasoul, Genie and the Chug Records Crew, DJ Marcelo Cruz, DJ Karlmarx, Dkai, DJ Bliss, Just Jonathan, Jan Pienkowski, DJ Guapo, Pink Feria, Creator from Ravemontreal, Miss Molly, Luke Native, Steve Mack, Matt Colleridge, Angus Robinson, Sultan, Scott Lancaster from Stereo & Dirty Ibiza @ Club Penelope, San Mehat, Mike Koagan from Soundworks Studios, have posted on Mtlnights, along with a diverse crew of local and international music lovers. What does Mtlnights have planned for the future? A booking agency for local and international DJs and artists that will focus on getting them some exposure in Montreal and abroad. There is no replacement for good artist representation; it’s what separates the mediocre from the best. Also in the works is a fully operational web portal that will serve as a one stop shop for all things Montreal house music related. Mtlnights would like to invite anybody that’s been touched by this site out to Stereobar on Friday March 10th, in celebration of it’s 4th year anniversary party starting @ 10PM. The first 25 people to arrive through the Mtlnights guest list mtlnights@hotmail.com will recieve a complimentary double CD mixed by DJ Dav & Miss Molly.
