Il n'y aura pas de toilettes ni d'installations sanitaires donc il faudra se gerer! si vous avez l'habitude de venir a Northtek en Ontario, dites vous que ceci est le meme genre d'evenement!!! et surtout n'oubliez pas: NE LAISSEZ AUCUNE TRACE! This means, we will not be selling anything on the site (The laws of Crown Land where the event is being held forbid us from doing so) and therefore YOU are responsible for yourself. Bring anything you think you might need: water, food, change of clothing, etc.. There will be no sanitary installations or toilets provided so you will have to deal with it! This is a similar festival to Northtek so if you are used to going there the same rules apply here!!! and especially please remember: LEAVE NO TRACE! DRVING INFOZ: From Ottawa: - Get off the 417 at the Nicholas St exit (HUll) and follow the signs for 5- Hull. - Cross the MacDonald-Cartier bridge, and follow Maniwaki on HWY 5 - Take exit 21 La Peche-Wakefield-Maniwaki (end of HWY 5 so you can't miss it) - Go left on route 105 dir. Maniwaki - Keep going north on the 105, still in direction of Maniwaki, until you hit Gracefield. After you cross the Picanoc bridge turn immediately left in direction of Cayamant. - Go through Cayamant, and turn left on chemin du Petit Cayamant.. about 1 km in the road forks, stay TO YOUR RIGHT on Petit Cayamant. At this point the road is no longer paved but still manageable. - Go about 2 km then turn right on chemin de l'Aigle. At this point, please watch out for kamikaze 4 wheelers, there may be a few on the roads. - Go about 5km. Take a left on the road going up (You know it's the right road if you can see on your right signs indicating Foret de l'Aigle and ZEC Pontiac, but if you pass them you've gone too far!!) -- there should be markers (inukshuk + piece of spray painted wood) there just in case. - Go straight for 13.5 km until you pass a lagoonish-type water mass and a beaver dam. Then take the first road to your right. This road is quite bumpy, so please be careful. - When the road forks, there is a big tree that is full of red spray paint. Take the road ot your right. At this point it's a sand road, and the teknival is about 2.5 km down. If you get lost: Look for clues (arrows, 23, inukshuk). DIRECTIONS: Depuis Ottawa: - Sortir de la 417 a la sortie rue Nicholas (Hull), suivre les indications pour Hull (Aut 5) - Traverser le pont MacDonald-Cartier - Suivre Aut-5: Maniwaki. - Prendre la sortie 21: La Peche-Wakefield-Maniwaki (c'est la derniere sortie de AUT 5 donc difficile de le rater) - Prendre a gauche sur la 105 Nord en direction de Maniwaki - Rester sur la 105 Nord, toujours en direction de Maniwaki, jusqu'a Gracefield. Passer le pont Picanoc et de suite prendre a gauche en direction de Cayamant. - Passer la ville de Cayamant, puis prendre a gauche sur chemin du Petit-Cayamant Cette route se fourche, rester sur la droite, toujours sur Petit Cayamant. A cet endroit la route n'est plus goudronnee mais encore assez navigable. - Continuer 2 km sur Petit Cayamant puis tourner a droite sur le chemin de l'Aigle. A partir d'ici, faites attention aux 4 roues kamikazes car il risque d'y en avoir sur les routes. - Continuer 5 km sur le chemin de l'Aigle. Prenez a gauche sur un chemin qui monte. Vous saurez que c'est le bon puisqu'il y aura sans doute un marque-lieu (bout de bois avec une fleche, inukshuk) Vous savez que vous etes alles trop loin si vous depassez les panneaux indiquant la foret de l'Aigle et la ZEC Pontiac (qui sont sur la droite 3 metres apres le chemin..) - Continuer sur cette route pendant a peu pres 13.5 km. Lorsque vous passez un lagon et un barrage de castors, prenez la premiere route a droite. - Continuer tout droit. La route se divise en deux: prendre la route de droite. Il y a un arbre tout plein de graffiti rouge au milieu de cette fourche, vous saurez que c'est le bon. La route est une route de sable a cet endroit donc soyez prudents. - Continuer tout droit sur 2.5 km et vous voila arrives! Si vous vous perdez: essayez de trouver des signes (fleches, 23, inukshuk) Pour ceux sans moyen de transport: Il y a un bus quotidien partant de la station centrale d'Ottawa a 8h30 le matin pour Gracefield. Il y a deux bus par jour partant de Montreal: l'un a 7h30 l'autre a 23h59. De Gracefield il y a plus ou moins 30 km jusqu'au site.. vous pourriez dans doute arriver a Cayamant en moins d'une heure et de la.. bonne chance pour le reste de la route! --- For those without transport: There is a daily bus from Ottawa Central Station at 8:30 am that goes to Gracefield. There are two daily buses from Montreal: one at 7:30 am the other at 11:59 pm. There is about 30 km from Gracefield to the site.. you can probably walk to Cayamant in about an hour/hour and a half.. good luck for the rest of the road! |
