| Info: | DJ Hue --- "DJ Hu-e has been working behind the decks since 1999. He started earlier in his career spinning hip-hop, showing a greater interest in dj'ing after some club experiences in LA. Over the years his style has changed from hip-hop to funkier and harder sounds such as chicago house and booty, but now he mainly focusses on iltered/funky/electro house. He has held monthly residencies at Ottawa clubs such as V.I.B.E., Mercury Lounge, and The Umbrella Room in Ottawa. Since then, DJ Hu-e has played at many different venues throughout the Nation's Capital, such as Buddha Bar, MTL & Co., The Collection, and Surface Nightclub... along with larger scale events such as Cycle with Palash/Preach/Luke Fair, Delicious with Rob Brown at Helsinki Lounge & Disco, and OM Festival 2004." Matt Davis --- (Aka Pete Tong) has been active in the Ottawa party/club scene since 1998. Securing a gig on May 21st, 2001 at SPIRIT nightclub marked Matt's first performance behind the wheels of steel for Ottawa clubbers. Since then, Vibe Alive has made many guest DJ appearances in and around Ottawa, including Stargate Fridays, Daylight Lounge and The Well. Vibe Alive's efforts behind the decks over the years were rewarded with a residency on Thursdays nights at Buddah Bar. Sheamus --- Sheamus mixed his first two records together last winter and liked it so much, he bought a few more. He mixed those records, too, and a few months later played successful opening slots alongside Raissa & Matt Davis in September’s Rhythm @ Helsinki, and then with Rick the Plant and Abe Van Dam @ Sundaze in the same month. He’s known to throw down bangin’, tribally and dark progressive beats, and to get very drunk while doing it. |
