| Description: | Montreal – August 19th, 2009 -- The eighth annual notorious party/festival known as Fear & Loathing in Montreal is taking place on Sunday, September 6th at Foufounes Electriques. Fear & Loathing in Montreal is a non-stop night of mayhem with a lineup of the most righteous Canadian bands on one stage, and vicious sideshow entertainment on the other. This year there will also be a cookout on Fouf’s back terrasse, serving salads, corn and an entire pig roasted on a spit. The ‘Fear’ stage features a set by a different band every hour on the hour starting at 9:00PM. This year the ‘Fear’ stage is hosting The Sainte Catherines (Fat Wreck Chords) 10th anniversary hometown show, as well as Bison BC (Metal Blade), Trigger Effect, Barnburner and The BCASA. The ‘Loathing’ stage, hosted by Toronto’s satanic evangelists Cloven Path Ministries, will feature a non-stop display of miracles, human excellence, and sadistic audience-participation contests. The ‘Loathing’ stage will also proudly feature fetish/sideshow performer Mia Culpa and amputee psychopath OneArmBob. Doors open at 8:00PM and the cover charge is $15 for regular admission, or $10 for those who arrive in costume. Fear & Loathing in Montréal est un spectacle sans arrêt complètement détraqué, présentant une sélection des meilleurs bands canadiens sur une scène, et des numéros de cirque alternative et des concours déments sur l’autre. Cette année il y aura aussi de quoi à manger! Des salades et du maïs seront servis sur la terrasse arrière, ainsi qu’un porc entier méchoui! Les groupes joueront sur la scène ‘Fear’, dans la grande salle des Foufs. Cette année Fear & Loathing in Montréal présente le spectacle du 10e anniversaire des héros locaux The Sainte-Catherines (Fat Wreck Chords). Les autres actes musicaux seront Bison BC (Metal Blade), Trigger Effect, Barnburner et The BCASA. La scène ‘Loathing’, animée par le duo évangèliste satanique torontois Cloven Path Ministries, présentera un spectacle continu de miracles, d’excellence humaine et de concours publics sadiques. Il y aura aussi des performances de la fabuleuse Mia Culpa, artiste de cirque fétiche, et son compagnon amputé psychopathe OneArmBob.
