The Panacea (GERMANY) - Drum and Bass!
(Position Chrome, Offkey, Freak)
[ myspace.com ]
------------------------------------------
Mathis Mootz, the teutonic mastermind and producer behind The Panacea from Wuerzburg, Germany, has developed and perfected his sinister drum & Bass mashup style over the years. The Panacea is digital Napalm Death, he samples and throws together elements of hardcore techno, drum'n'bass, jungle and industrial creating a truly powerful, explosive sound.

As one of the dominant faces of the iconic german record label Position
Chrome he has released 25 ep's and 5 albums since 1996. His debut 'Low
Profile Darkness' was one of his most influential works to date and a huge
success with over 12.000 copies sold. It received diverse support from a
variety of genre's such as metal, industrial, goth and punk. it was truly
ground zero, a monolith for heavy music to come. Others followed like the
techno & hardcore influenced 'Twisted Designz','Phoenix Metabolism' with
it's hip hop & booty-bass roots, the enormous 'German Engineering' &
'Underground Superstardom', as well as the experimental & noisy
'Architettura'.

His experimental, electro, and neo-industrial beats were produced under the aliases of Squaremeter, Disorder, Warfare, Kate Mosh, Bad Street Boy, Radar, Rich Kid and Warfare. These productions were released on labels like Mille Plateaux, Ant-Zen, Hands Productions, Caipirinha, Ambush, Ad Noiseam, Kniteforce, Intransigent, Outbreak, Offkey and Freak Recordings.

With his much anticipated 6th full length album on the way, he continues to bring his otherworldy dimensions while on a busy tour schedule. It is
evident that The Panacea has found a musical language that transcends trends and genres.

DJ Entity (UK) - Happy Hardcore!
(Hardcore Underground, CLSM, Nu Energy / Kaotik)
------------------------------------------
Entity first appeared on the radar with the dark, dnb-influenced breakbeat track "Fallout," which was one of the biggest breakbeat tracks of the year. This was followed up the smash hits "Stargazer" and "The Spice." Expect everything from euphoric breakbeat vocal tracks through to pounding underground numbers with a unique twist.

Redeyz - Dubstep
(Project D, Badman Press, Betamorph Recordings)
------------------------------------------
As one of the proprietors of Badman Press Music Group, RedEyz has also been heavily involved in Ottawa’s rave & afterhours scene for the last 15 years. From throwing successful events to performing alongside national/international artists the likes of DZ, Scott Brown, Freedom Danish, Marty McFly, Ill Gates, Vilify & Construct, DJ? Acucrack, and Mark Instinct – a man of eloquent taste, his DJ sets are renown for being hard and dirty; whether he’s throwing down Dubstep, Electro house or Minimal techno. It was only a matter of time until he took the next step into the production arena, and when he did, RedEyz teamed up with DZ in the spring of 2008. Their first track, “Call it Dirty,” was picked up by Bass Tourist Records and was released b/w DZ’s “Geeks” (BTR004). The release has been battered by the likes of Sinden, Herve, Kanji Kinetic, Starkey, Bombaman, Joe Rogers, J.O.T.S. & countless others. With the immediate success of their first collaboration, the duo teamed up again in the fall of 2008 to build “Welcome to Vanier,” and the off-kilt 4/4 bass smasher “Asian Cuddle Puddle,” which were just released on their digital label “Badman Digital” [BDM013]. Also getting involved with Betamorph Recordings early in 2010 to help out with the Dubstepper's for Haiti series of releases and lending his tune "Positive re-inforcement" to the second installment [DSFH2] - which all profits from album sales went to NPO [ www.facebook.com ] - he aided in globally promoting the albums. This badman is not one to be looked over.
