| Description: | 5 Year Anniversary of Can I Get A Soul Clap an International street dance competition 5 vs 5 B-boying and 2 vs 2 All Style Dance Battle Judges from Ukraine, Canada, California, DJs from Miami and Montreal. An annual event for All Ages and anyone who wants to participate in a Street Dance Competition and win $2,500 in cash and prizes. ( The Prelims for all participants will be held at the Disstorsion Studios on Friday September 26 at 6:30pm. $10 per non-participants) A ‘Soul Clap’ is a consistent beat given to a dancer by the clapping of the hands of the audience. It is a street dance tradition and a way of showing support and giving energy to a dancer to help them reach their best performance. The goal of our event and the reason why we organize it each year is to promote exchange and growth between talented local and international artists and the general public. We strongly believe in encouraging dance as a medium to transmit creativity and positivity for people of all ages, races, genders and abilities.
