Lets celebrate the holidays in style as we remind everyone why we all call Ottawa our home. MAIN ROOM (Booty, House, Tribal & Prog): Rob Solo (Aural Productions / Subsonic / The Well RIP - Taiwan) Rob Solo ran Ottawa's longest running club night, Subsonic, at one of the most missed venues, The Well. Doing shows in Taiwan, he won't be back again in Ottawa again for at least a year. Serge Theriault (Activate / One Degree - Toronto) Founder of Full Force, One Degree and currently TO's most successful Wednesday night: Activate @ Element. Activate has just won Tribe's award for best promotional company in Toronto. Pablo Diablo (Onaversal / Wired Fridays / Nation - Ottawa) Partner in Onaversal, Nation and the One Degree parties, this versatile dj rocks crowds with a unique mix of funky, tribal and tek-house. You can catch him at various clubs around the city like Surface, Space / Buddha Bar and Mtl&Co. Colin White (Onaversal / [ vipguestlist.ca ] / Zone TV / Nation - Ottawa) This veteran dj has been at it for over 11 years now, and is making a good name for himself as a producer and remixer. Resident dj at Space on Saturdays, Colin is also a partner in Onaversal, Nation and Zone TV. Speaker Phreaker (Eclipse/ GT Unit - Ottawa) A long time local favorite dj and undisputed booty house king of Ottawa. He is also responsible for throwing some of Ottawa's biggest and best raves under Ecplise. Now also spinning Dancehall as Riddim Rydas. LOUNGE (Breaks, UK Garage, 2Step, Turntablism, Dancehall & DnB): Next Level Reunion: Jonny Mac (Next Level - Vancouver) Founder of Next Level Promotions DJ Jonny Mac returns from Vancouver who not too long ago played the main room of one Vancouver's top club Sonar. Stu Blunt (Next Level - Japan) Ottawa favorite Stu Blunt returns from Japan after just recentally opening up for one of the biggest Breakbeat DJ's out there, Tayo UK. Source (Next Level - Ottawa) An Ottawa breakbeat staple since 2001, Source returns to the decks to drop his special blend of steppy breaks and nuskool bombs. Richniques (Iceworks / Peppa Crew - Toronto) Known to most people as The MC of the party, he and his crew have a long history in urban music. Playing 2step flavors and other urbanstylz this party is guaranteed to shut down the block. Ask the people who saw him play after Mark Farina on Canada Day at the NATION party. Tasc ( System Soundbar / Theory - Toronto) Ottawa's DMC Champion in 2001 & 2002, Tasc is now promoting for some of TO's most successful events. He also rocks Toronto's #1 Wednesday hip hop & drum n' bass night: Loose. Watch for his new website coming soon! Kid SL (Taktikal - Ottawa) Ottawa's DMC Champion in 2000, you can catch him at various urban events around the city like Fresh and Stamina. Check out his new marketing company at [ taktikal.com ] Fiver (Simple Tings / Functional Records - Ottawa) Known for bringing out the sexy side of drum & bass with his sets, Fiver will get the girls' hips shakin' and the dancefloor quakin'. 417 Entertainment (Montreal-Ottawa) This crew is made up of many talented djs from Montreal and Ottawa, and they can spin anything from classic house to RnB to old school hip hop. Look out for a special dancehall set. Laydee Craze & Kay Dub (BrokenBridge - Ottawa) A special live performance of their 3 newest jams.
