So for those who aren't aware, there's a new weekly at Club Koi on St Laurant called Bass Drive Wednesdays. What is Bass Drive Wednesday you might ask? Well, as the name implies, it's bassy, and its driven, as are its promoters and resident DJs Locomotive and Villify.

Locomotive aka Jordan Van Den Hoonard heils from New Brunswick and his sound can be best summed up in two words, hard and heavy. However, Jordan also appreciates the funkier side of things as well. His musical styles include DnB and Breakbeats. He rocks.

Villify aka Jen Carmichael heils from Toronto and like Jordan, she likes it hard and heavy. She also likes that super aggressive sound and specializes in neurofunk, hard dnb, and breakcore. If you like headbanger Dnb, you should come check out one of her sets, it'll give you whiplash!

So a couple weeks ago they did a trial night of Bass Drive Wednesdays and it went off without a hitch. Tonight will be the first actually weekly night and there will be guests! After Locomotive and Villify get the night warmed up, Laserface is going to bust out the DubStep so we can all get crunked. After some proper crunkage, Plan C is jumping on the ones and twos and dropping some seriously hard dance floor shit. Then there will be a special half hour birthday set in honor of Soza performed by none other than DJ In Your Face. Finally to wrap it up, more hardness from Locomotive and Villify.

$3 MOLSON - that's right $3 Molson, and when I was there a couple weeks ago, it was OMG COLD!

So, not doing anything, or maybe you are doing something but it's not going to be fun, or maybe it is, it doesn't really matter, you should check this one out PERIOD.
