Today, his sound and style are musically authentic. Even though they originally start with a base of house and tech house rhythm, he was able to enrich them with the electro sound. Even though his «gigs» as a DJ will always revive him, he’s now devoting his time to the creation of his own material. With the collaboration of Jeff Fontaine and NashOne, he formed the group UCP. He is working really hard at producing some new electro music. For Oly Arsenal, music is for most a source of pleasure! Jeff grew up surrounded by the arts both music and visual. The arts are what guid him in life. After starting off on Clarinet Jeff moved onto Saxophone in elementary, guitar in high school, then moving into acting, photography and now Jeff’s focus and passion is for DJing. His brother ( Avrum Gold (oldskool.dj)) guided and taught him the art of vinyl. Jeff’s love for music and thirst for new sounds that will take control of every room is what helps to push him into the front of the minds of anyone that hear and see him spin. Jeff moved from the west coast (Alberta) to the east coast (Montreal). His Deep, soulful blend of house, breaks, progressive, electro, tech house and his unique touch are what separate him from the rest. Jeff Gold’s “Hip-Notic House” style pulls you in then brings you up. Steady, Funky, Harmonic sounds are what take control and keep you moving to the groove. Jeff played on Smooth Radio 88.5 FM Edmonton for approx a year and half, with hosts Avrum Gold and Groovy Cuvy. Smooth radio is a live to air radio program that brings some of the freshest tracks and live mixing to the Edmonton airwaves. Jeff gold has played parties along side some of the most talented people in the industry, as well as playing on an Alberta pirate radio station. From outdoor parties in the West to clubs such as Stereo Montreal in the East Jeff Gold has people listening across Canada. Gold’s connection to his audience is powerful to experience and to enjoy. Jeff along side his brother Avrum now hold a residency at Stereobar in Montreal. Stereobar is nightclub extension to Stereo Afterhours (where Jeff and Avrum play as well) . Stereo Montreal has been ranked as one of the top clubs in the world by publications like Forbes, MixMag DJMag and many more. Gold also is the resident DJ and sound consultant for the ALT hotels.
