Formed in 2004 as a hip hop studio project, the act soon exploded into a live dance music performance with the energy of an ourangatang gangbang. The shpang-tang is unbridled and undeniable. TAXI NOUVEAU - [ www.myspace.com ] Taxi Nouveau is part of Montréal's new electronic music scene and is known throughout the international 8bit/chiptune music scene. Recent performances include: Toy Company, Pulse Wave (N-Y), Mix Sessions at the Société des arts technologiques (SAT), sets at the Arcadia, Fantasia festivals and also numerous participations at electronic art events in Canada, USA, Belgium, France and Netherlands. Taxi Nouveau perform his songs from a Game Boy, laptop and modified Christmas cards. The electro-dancehall-8bit driver promises you a non-stop thrill ride. His musical performance combine songs from his album with new pieces specially created for funky clubs. He is also a founding member of the 8bit Montreal collective Toy Company. His first album released in 2008 is a selection of songs composed between 2004 and 2007. Created with intricately woven sounds and borrowing from various electronic styles, it invites the listener to discover a world that hovers with intense joy and mysterious excitement. The man behind is Manuel Chantre, a freelance composer/sound designer/artist performer and DJ . He is also a part of the mysterious collective Pop Core [ ] He has been making music with computer since 1996. DJ BUS - [ www.myspace.com ] Lounge with DJ Bus co- founder of the ESL crew which organizes the MTL funky events this DJ moved to Montreal and is definitely shakin the ground with his vision for a better party.
