| Description: | The GOODS vs. FOOTPRINTS Saturday November 28th 2009 with special guest DJS Jason Palma - General Eclectic - Stuart Li and residents Scott C & Andy Williams La Sala Rossa 4848 St. Laurent $10 no frills 10:30-3AM FOOTPRINTS is a once a month deejay & live music event held inside the backroom of the RIVOLI concert venue in downtown Toronto. The 4 person artist, promotions & deejay collective bring a mix of slightly left-of-center party rocking music to the Toronto underground each and every month. Focusing primarily on polyrhythmic, funky, soulful and rhythmically challenging beats both new and old. You're likely to hear everything from Jazz, Funk, Soul, Latin, Afrobeat to Rock, Electro, Disco and Ska when you're at one of their parties. Just like Montreal's monthly institution for soulful dancefloor movements The GOODS, FOOT PRINTS also boasts 7 years of bringing people future classics and forgotten gems, and are considered by many to be Toronto's premiere open format deejay event. The GOODS welcome their Hogtown brothers in music with open arms, so please join us for this very special night. |
