First Ottawa appearance for these multi-platinum recording astists! These rap headline-makers from Miami became unlikely figures in a media censorship debate when, in June 1990, “As Nasty As They Wanna Be” was banned by a judge in Florida. In the process it became the first record in America to be deemed legally obscene and eventually went all the way to the Supreme Court where the ruling was over turned. The show is a 19+ event. 2 Live Crew travels with 6 female dancers who perform on stage during the 60 minute performance which includes their smash hits “Me So Horny”, "Banned in the USA" and their cover of “Pretty Woman.” (If necessary the show can be toned down to an R-rated version at the clubs request) but we're gonna see what happens...it will be a surprise.
