Description:

Cirque de Boudoir, a Montreal, Quebec based performance group and event production company, was founded by DJ Davidé & Empress Bunnyguts in 2006. Combining elements of cirque, burlesque, fetish and electro dance parties, Cirque de Boudoir events are eclectic and electric attracting the pretty and perverse for thematic parties held every few months in various club venues.

Background:
Cirque de Boudoir was created in 2006 by Bunnyguts and Davidé to fill a void that we felt existed within the party scene. Montréal, of course, is world-renowned for its amazing night life - and we tried everything - fetish parties, electro dance parties, dress up parties, club nights, loft parties, theatre productions, burlesque – cabaret show and more. We managed to have a good time everywhere we went and yet there was a desire for something more left unfulfilled from many of our outings.

We wanted to go to events where there is a creative and inspiring theme, amazing music and an open minded crowd ready for a kinky romp - after all, Bunnyguts is a costume maker and performer, and Davidé a DJ and promoter, and both are slightly perverted!! There were no regular parties, yet, that had this formula - so we took matters into our own hands.

We combine elements we love from the electro and dance music scene (the music, the style, the energy), elements from the fetish scene (the open-minded playfulness, the kinkiness and the fashion) and costume parties (costumes!) and we add our own twist - creating unique themes for each of our events that are different from anything out there! With kinky burlesque – fetish - circus performances, awesome DJs and the hottest partiers anywhere, CDB events stand out from the crowd.

Cirque de Boudoir parties are unique; we are not exclusive to any one particular scene. We are open to everyone - straight, gay, bi, vanilla, kinky, transgendered, exchangiste, goth, punk, raver, artists, performers... everyone is welcome to come join the kinky circus that is Cirque de Boudoir!

Our big summer event, we’re very pleased to say, will be the 2nd edition of the ROBOTS & Dolls event with a new twist….this year we’re adding MONSTERS to the theme! That’s right, ROBOTS & Dolls & MONSTERS will take place July 26, 2008 at the Just For Laughs (Studio) 2109 St-Laurent, featuring special guests Tokyo Cybermonster, live electronic performance by Bizune [Toronto], DJ sets by My Favorite Robot and DJ Davidé, plus performaces by Bunnyguts, Christabel Couture and others!

For the first time in Canada, Cirque De Boudoir is hosting a
Sex-Machine Competition/Exhibition,
where amateur builders will compete with manufacturers of commercial sex-machines for the most ingenious and the most stimulating simulator.

This exhibition explores the robot vs human aspect of sexuality and the evolution of technology as it relates to our sexuality.

Taking place July 24th, this will be a precursor to the main CDB summer event, the second edition of Robots & Dolls Ball, this year with an added theme, MONSTERS!! (Location TBA. To enter the contest, send an email with some information about yourself and your proposed sex machine to info@cirquedeboudoir.com)
