Evan has organized and promoted events at such clubs as The Guvernment, System Soundbar, Footwork, Boa, Roxy Blu and Element, with artists such as Afrika Bambaataa, John Digweed, Miss Kitten, Donald Glaude, Nick Warren, Stanton Warriors and Deep Dish among others. Activate was also voted 2004 promoter of the year by Tribe Magazine. Through his years of experience in organizing events, Evan developed a sense for what kind of music worked over the city's dancefloors the best and worked the crowd into a and eventually started DJing himself. It wasn't long before his unique blend of House, Electro, Breaks and all things DIRTY were getting him bookings at virtually every club in the city. From System Soundbar, to Fluid, to the annual Labour of Love event inside The Guvernment Entertainment Complex, which was attended by 10,000 people. He has also been billed at events featuring such artists as Donald Glaude, Miss Kitten, Bad Boy Bill, Jelo, Hatiras, Luke Fair and Grammy Award winners Roger Sanchez and Deep Dish.
