[b][u]WHAT?[/u][/b]

It's XVI's 6th annual FREE daytime BBQ! There'll be DJs playing tunes all day, BBQables, swimming, sports, you name it! This is not a "day-rave", but rather an outdoor community gathering where you can meet some of the names you see on XVI, chat, throw a ball around, play frisbee... that kind of thing :)

As this is a BBQ, there will of course be food and drinks available all day long! Details to come but we usually have pop, hot dogs and burgers at cost. Feel free to bring your own food/drinks - the BBQ is available to anyone who wants to use it, but will be manned for the supplied food.

[b][u]WHO?[/u][/b]

YOU! All XVI members are invited, and others are welcome to come as well. Children and reasonably well behaved pets are also welcome.

[b][u]WHEN?[/u][/b]

The event takes place Saturday, July 15th, 2006 from noon till around 8PM. Please plan to arrive close to noon so you can enjoy most of the day and not miss any of the great tunes!

[b][u]WHERE?[/u][/b]

Ottawa, Ontario - PRIVATE property, massive backyard near Mooney's Bay. Directions will be XIMmed to everyone toggled for the event so make sure you mark your attendance!

Lots of free parking available. Washrooms inside the house. Since this large yard backs right onto the water, swimming is very much encouraged!

This is being held on private property. Please treat it with respect.

[b][u]BRING?[/u][/b]

Bring whatever you think you might need for all-day outdoor fun!

Some examples include sunscreen, foldup chairs, towels, bathing suits, frisbees, balls, nerf guns, blankets for sitting/eating on, drink coolers etc.

Please DO NOT BRING mini grills, BBQs or other heat sources. The main BBQ supplied will be the only cooking appliance allowed. It's a biggie though so everyone will have their turn :)
