For the fifth edition of our Up-N-Comerz event on June 4th, Sundaze is going to follow the same format as last time: we're filling the line-up with DJs who've played for the Sundaze crew already in past UnC events, as well as with those who haven't yet been corrupted by us. It's going to be another great time on the dancefloor at:

SUNDAZE Up-N-Comerz 5: Come Again?

As in UnC4, some of the Dj's will "come again" to allow us to hear and feel just how far they've come along in the past several months... but we're also adding new blood in the mix.

EVENT BACKGROUND:

Sundaze has always looked to help support and contribute to the Ottawa club scene by introducing great national, international, and most importantly LOCAL Dj's and EDM musicians. That's why we started a series of events for those bedroom/basement and lesser-known DJ's who have also been enthusiastically supporting Ottawa's club and EDM scene through their love of music.

The Sundaze UP-N-COMERZ series is our small way to offer a chance for them to get a little something back.

As mentioned, this is not a contest. Dj's do not have to pay the promoters, they don't have to get a bunch of friends to buy a minimum number of drinks. All they have to do is hand in a DJ demo that shows they are ready to make the move from the bedroom or basement into the clubs. On the down side, "this is not a contest", so we don't have cash and fabulous prizes for the Dj's. Just a chance to come out, get some exposure and drop some beats for a room of people ready to dance.

And in my humble opinion, the intimate Sundaze "living room" environment is the perfect place to do it... a relaxed atmosphere full of friendly people, not to mention a fun time playing on the "biggest" little sound system in Ottawa.
