| Info: | this Saturday April 22nd, Velvet Productions in conjunction with The Carleton University Music Department, NAC and Surface bring you MOZART REMIXED. A project that Joe Juarez and Rebecca Van Vlasselaer (Raissa) have been working on for the last year. Inspired by Mozart’s 250th birthday celebration’s. Expect an experience like nothing ever seen in Ottawa. A fusion of big room House music with elements of live classical, disco and tribal performed on electric Violin, Synths and drums pads. Headlining this incredible birthday bash will be none other then DJ PALASH (Saeed & Palash, DC, Star 69 Records). Opening set by DJ RAISSA. Also featured will be internationally renowned mind bending violinist DR DRAW along with a live PA/DJ set from the fresh production team of JUAREZ & THOMAS performing their remix of OLIVE - YOUR NOT ALONE. THE SURFACE UDJ FINALS COMPETITION will be setting the tone for the evening with semi finalist's RICK LAPLANTE VS. MAD BOY MATT taking the decks from 10pm sharp til midnight. We hope to see everyone out cheering these two great DJ’s as they compete to be this years UDJ champion.
