Fun Syndicate and Synergy in association with many many others proudly present:
7 Days of Deelight!
Over time, everything changes. Seven years ago, Jorah Kai as Third Degree with King Funk threw the first Deelight in what was once the Well, now the Helsinki Lounge. Since then over 5000 people have attended Deelights, through massive change in the scene. This year is no different, and as our scene continues to change and grow so do we. This year Deelight is celebrating it's seventh anniversary, becoming the longest running rave event in Ottawa's history. Seven amazing events to date, all sold out and with amazing vibe year after year. This year we have taken the Deelight concept further than it has ever gone before, spreading the vibe over an entire week's worth of events. Combine that with the largest lineup of artists ever to grace a Deelight, and you've got a recipe for the craziest week ever to hit Capital city ~~ The 7th Deelight, and the first ever week long Deelight music festival!

Just 2 quick notes for y'all:
1) The FULL deelight flyers will be out this weekend. If you can't wait 30 hours, you can take a look at them here:
As you might have noticed, these are pretty big flyers - 11x17 to be exact. We tried fitting all the information onto smaller flyers but just couldn't. So I hope you all enjoy these flyers - the biggest flyers I've ever done, so I'm excited!
2) And now some bad news. As you may have also noticed, Kevin Energy is no longer on the bill for Deelight 7. He's stuck going back to England the day after he headlines Hullabaloo, so we've decided to find replacement headliners.
In his stead we have booked UK acid trance pioneer DDR live and Sarah Fab from Los Angeles. We know people were very excited for Kevin, and if you've bought tickets specifically for him, feel free to contact us and we'll refund your money. Regardless, we're extremely happy to add these two VERY talented artists to our lineup, and we know you're going to love them (oooh, valentine's love!).
Stay Up Forever, Cluster, Smitten, DAMN - UK
One of the original London Acid Trance pioneers, you might know DDR from one of his many side projects like Punk Floyd or A&E Dept. Or maybe you’ve heard one of his many tracks with DAVE the Drummer, Geezer, or the Liberators. Regardless, if you’ve heard DDR, you know what to expect: Hard as nails acid techno and trance, all done live right before your eyes. This is his Ottawa debut, and we know he’s going to tear the place apart!
Stay Up Forever Collective, DAMN - Los Angeles
What would Valentines be without a love interest !? Well this lucky lady is not only one of the meanest acid techno dj's south of the border, but she is happily married to the one and only DDR. We didn't have the heart to seperate them on this loving occasion so get ready for the acid love.
