not much electronic music actually touches me, most indie, and old "emo" (that I've been listening to since like 94, when it was just called "indie") touches me. like:
The Weakerthans - Fallow (this entire album is beautiful) The Promise Ring - Red and Blue Jeans, Pink Chimneys Jets To Brazil - Milk And Apples, I Typed For Miles, Orange Rhying Dictionary Braid - American Typewritter, Consolation Prizefighter Appleseed Cast - Hanging Marionette, Hello Dearest Love The Beta Band - Dry The Rain and in the "newer music" area, the winner is: Pilate - Into Your Hideout this song is beautiful, and it makes me feel like water |

converge - saddest day
last time i saw converge, as they were doing the song, jake bannon was stumbling around the stage with his eyes closed as usual, dropped the mic and kept on trashing. i grabed the mic and held it up like it was the holy grail. with his eyes fully closed, jake swung his arms around and grabbed it out of my hands and started "EVERY TIME YOU JUSTIFY; ANOTHER PART OF YOU DIES" it was a religious experience |
