Props to Pierre-Luc and thanks for inviting me ! I've played from 6 to 8 am in the second room ; first it was packed and exciting, then at some point everyone got back to the main room and i was all by myself for at least 10-15 minutes ...u know the Iznogood phenomena ...he was starting a set in the main room ...u know what happens ...he's the god of all those kids ... Anyways ; then i was thinking; is it boring to play for NOBODY ? And the answer was ; nevermind .. Such a sound system is better than playing home , and i've rocked the house even when there was no one around ..kinda like a practice session ... Lotsa fun ! It was funny to see all those speeded candy kids coming in and notcing there was no one in the room at the moment, and instead of coming in, they were just going back ...it happened for like 20 peeps in a row ...seemed like sheeps to me ... People that listens to regular trance and 4/4 beatz seems to have troubles enjoying music like drumn'bass ...someguy was telling me i was playing my breaks records at the wrong speed ...LOL ... Anyways ; thanks to those who enjoyed ; including the promoter Pierre-Luc who stayed for almost all my set ; enjoying with an open-mind and a smile ... and to Iznogood , Psycho Le Punk, Intrancyve and a couple more trippers for the same reason ... No ravewave people at all at this party ;probably more like 450 peeps (ravemontreal crowd i think ..) , and on the line-up at the party it was written ; GALAKSY (Ravewave) So i guess i was reprezentin the crew here ...ahight ! :) I did it well and with a good vibe to show how RAVEWAVE KICKS ASS ! :) |
