| Coolness: 30775 | I know. It's as terrible as the power of the rave. The whole thing is a loose end. But at 15 yo (the age I was when this was created), I was basically a crazy rave fanatic, a crazy sectarist that could not even conceive that anything related to being a (candy or not) raver could be nothing but the best thing ever. So there I was, firmly believing this was the coolest underground rave movie in existence.
I watched it entirely, so consider me punished for that. |

"Seriously, who did the producers think the audience for this movie would be? If you're a severely mentally disabled, mentally disturbed, drunk, 14 year old, who's taken a time machine back to the mid 90's, I still advise against watching this flick. " *eyes suspiciously shift back to BonusBeats* But seriously, I kinda lucked out and managed to bypass any mainstream rave related media from the 90's except maybe that extasy was killing kids across the nation part. The first movie of the genre I saw was Groove. It was at 2am on a Tuesday when the harsh and unmerciful realization that I would have wait until Friday to dance off the adrenaline set in. I can definitely relate to where you're coming from though, I still to this day love the powerglove, its so bad. |
