 Coolness: 685570 | Like I'd mentioned on facebook: It's one of those "looks horrible from here" videos, but if they showed the 10 minutes leading up to it, they're a group of people that found out about the law and specifically got together to go break it and antagonize cops into enforcing it so that they can make their "controversial" video. Pretty much just idiots poking a dog and acting like they're innocent when it bites them.
If it was just a couple doing something like that "spontaneously" for fun, they would have maybe gotten told that they couldn't do that.. but they went with a camera crew, were yelling at and insulting the cops before this even started, and were generally obnoxious douchebags who, really, got what they had coming to them. |

 Coolness: 106095 | Maybe the video is "controversial" because there is a law forbidding peoples to dance at the Jefferson memorial.
Maybe whats "controversial" is the total irony of the situation. If the cops had played along or ignored them, the situation could have been totally diffused, but the cops preferred to confront them and arrest a bunch of peoples under a ridiculous law, making themselves, and the U.S. police in general look like Nazi douchbags. I guess the take-down version makes for more exiting footage. No one cares about a bunch of peoples dancing at some memorial... unless their naked! ;) |
